Health preservation has always been an eternal topic, starting from ancient human health preservation.

Primitive humans were in the period of ignorance and didn't know what health preservation was. Only a strong body can become the leader of the tribe, and more people can obey themselves.

They found that beehives can make their bodies stronger, so the tribal leaders ordered that beehives represent the gift of God, and they master these sacred objects on behalf of God. Everyone must obey him, so that the strongest leader eats the collected beehives and his body is getting better and better. At the back, the rulers will order the prohibition of collecting honey, and honey will become the exclusive property of the supreme leader.

For uncivilized human beings, in the years of hunger, honey is not only a food for famine relief, but also a health care product in the era of lack of medical care and medicine. Honey is not only a natural tonic accompanying human origin, but also a regulator of plant ecology on the earth.

As modern people, we all know the powerful effects of honey: expelling wind, attacking poison, killing insects, relieving pain, resisting allergy and enhancing immunity.

The edible and medicinal methods of honey have been recorded in hieroglyphics as early as the pyramids and obelisks in ancient Egypt. In ancient Greece, people regarded honey as a treasure, believing that it could not only cure many diseases, but also prolong life. In ancient Russia, folk doctors used honey for a long time to treat many diseases, and gave a high evaluation of honey as medicine in their handwritten medical books.

According to research, the word "honey" was recorded in Oracle Bone Inscriptions of Shang Dynasty more than 4,000 years ago.

In the 3rd-4th century BC, there were records in Huangdi Neijing that bee needles and bee venom were used to treat diseases.

From the 2nd century BC to the 1st century BC, China's classic medical work "Shen Nong Ben Cao" listed honey as the top grade in medicine-"sweet and nontoxic, mainly used to treat evil spirits in the heart".

Beekeeping was recorded in the Western Zhou Dynasty, and the government set up a special yamen to collect honey as a tribute. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Jiang Qi, the first documented beekeeper, appeared. "Biography of Gao Shi" records that Jiang Qi lived in seclusion in the mountains. "Taking livestock bees as a matter, he taught all over the world, and the operator was 300. Thousands of people live there. " At that time, teaching beekeeping became a specialized knowledge.

About 3000 years ago, archaeologists discovered a beehive while digging in northern Israel. These beehives are so well preserved that you can even see the beeswax clearly. Experts say that this may be the oldest and best-preserved beehive ever discovered.
