Li Shimin (65438+5981October 28-65438+July 00, 649) was born in Wugong Bieguan (now Shaanxi Wugong), the second son of Tang Gaozu Li Yuan, the second emperor of the Tang Dynasty, and was honored as "Tiankhan".

Li Shimin was clever, decisive and good at fighting, which made great contributions to the unification of the Tang Dynasty. In the ninth year of Wude (July 2, 626), he launched the "Xuanwumen Change" and became a prince. After he ascended the throne, he ruled the world internally and created the rule of chastity.
