How do people with rings do MRI?
First, thank you for inviting me.

Magnetic field is mainly used in nuclear magnetic resonance examination. If there are metal products in the inspected part, it will easily lead to the contact between the instrument and the human magnetic field, which will lead to abnormal dangerous situations and will not be allowed. Therefore, whether there is a ring on a woman's body will affect the MRI examination depends on what contraceptive ring is used and the part that needs to be examined.

If what you need to do is MRI of the head, neck and limbs, then the IUD in the female pelvic cavity is useless. The requirement of magnetic resonance examination is that there should be no metal objects in the examined part.

If it is necessary to do an MRI examination of the waist and abdomen, then put a metal intrauterine device in the uterine cavity and take it out before doing an MRI examination. Most of the rings are made of metal, and even the plastic bodies are made of metal brackets. If there is no metal IUD, there is no need to remove the ring. It is recommended to go to the hospital to check B-ultrasound, understand the intrauterine situation, and then do MRI.
