Brief introduction of Yaowangshan scenic spot in Shaanxi;

Located in the east of Yaoxian County, Shaanxi Province, at 1.5km, it is the long-term seclusion place of Sun Simiao, a medical scientist in the Tang Dynasty, and is named after the folk honorific Sun Simiao as the King of Medicine. Yaowang Mountain, whose real name is Wutai Mountain, consists of five mountains, the top of which is as flat as a platform and shaped like five fingers. Later generations built temples, temples, statues and monuments here to commemorate the medical master Sun Simiao, and Yaowang Mountain became a famous holy place for medical students. Looking from a distance, surrounded by green trees, the temple is built by mountains and rocks, which is spectacular and charming. Sun Simiao (AD 58 1 ~ 682), a native of Sunjiayuan, Yao County, was sickly in his early years and his family was poor. When I was a teenager, I began to study medicine and pharmacology, and I also read a hundred words about classics and history. When I was young, I had achieved a lot. After finishing his studies, he resigned from the imperial court and lived in seclusion for a long time to practice medicine at home and help others. In his later years, according to the medical literature of Tang Dynasty, he collected folk treatment experience and compiled medical books combined with personal medical experience. He is the author of 30 volumes, including "A Thousand Daughters" and "A Thousand Daughters' Wings". In ancient times when printing was underdeveloped, manuscripts were widely circulated. It was not until the Song Dynasty that the abridged versions of these two books were published and introduced to Korea and Japan. These two books initiated the classification of diseases, description of symptoms, treatment methods and prescription of drugs, and made great contributions to the development of medicine in China. There was a Buddhist temple in Yaowang Mountain in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Since the late Tang Dynasty, the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties have successively built temples for Sun Simiao, making Yaowang Mountain a treasure house with many temples and rich cultural relics. Wang Yao Mountain is 812m above sea level, and Wang Yaotang is on the mountainside in the north. Climb the stairs from the foot of the mountain and cross Tianmen, which is the magnificent hall. This hall is 22m high, 24m wide and 57m long. It stands on the mountain like a castle in the air. There are a pair of iron flagpoles in front of the temple, and there is a pair of couplets on the poles, praising the noble medical ethics and superb medical skills of the drug king: shine on you with iron core and copper rod, immortal for thousands of years; Burning copper and smelting mercury and refining some Dan medicine will rejuvenate you in one day. Backed by the center of the main hall, there is a colorful statue of Sun Simiao in the Ming Dynasty, 3 meters high, with a white face and a beard, dressed in casual clothes; Gentle and dignified appearance. Above the statue, there is a pine crane sculpture to celebrate the New Year. Behind the statue, there is a cave commonly known as Wang Yaodong.

There are colored statues of Bian Que, Cang Gong, Zhang Zhongjing, Hua Tuo and other 10 ancient famous doctors in the annex hall of the main hall, all of which were admired by Sun Simiao when he studied medicine. There is a pavilion in front of the statue of Sun Simiao, which contains more than 30 stone tablets, engraved with the historical changes of Wang Yao and the poems of Wang Yao by literati in past dynasties. There is also a tablet pavilion on the east side of Xianting, in which the tablet of "Thousand Women and Precious Yao" is composed of four equal tablets, which were carved in the 6th year of Xuanhe, Song Huizong (A.D. 1 124). The inscription is divided into six volumes, 164 pages, which can be bound into volumes after rubbing. More than 900 commonly used prescriptions on the tablet were selected by Guo Si, a Song Dynasty poet, from two books, A Thousand Women and A Thousand Women's Wings, which can be called popular books. Another stone tablet sea is engraved with 100 copies of common health knowledge and prescriptions, which are described in verse for easy memory. The word "precious money is precious" is taken from Sun Simiao's original work: human life is the most precious, and there is a precious daughter. One side helps it, and the virtue does not stop there. "Beyond the sea" is a prince who originated from folklore. It is said that Sun Simiao saved the Dragon King of the East China Sea. The Old Dragon King was so grateful that he gave Sun Simiao the "Sea Fairy Prescription" that was treasured in the palace. In the east of the main hall, there is a showroom, which displays the printed versions of Sun Simiao's works in past dynasties, and 1985' s Thousand Girls and Wings. Sun Simiao was honored as a medical sage and a king of medicine. On the second day of the second lunar month, there was a temple fair, and countless men, women and children came to burn incense and kowtow. Some of them offer sacrifices to people, while others take water from God, hoping to get rid of all diseases and live a long and healthy life. In Wang Yao Cave, there are stone charts of Wang Yao temples all over the country. Every Wang Yao temple with its name engraved on the stone spectrum must come here to receive holy water before February 2nd every year. There are nearly 200 buildings in Wang Yao, Yaoxian, during the Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Besides Wang Yao Temple, there are elite temples. There is a Tang Dynasty Cooper in the courtyard, with a circumference of 3.9 meters, which is said to have been planted by Sun Simiao. There is a flat land in the southeast of the hospital, called the drug testing field. According to legend, Sun Simiao visited Chinese herbal medicines here. The architecture of Wang Yao Temple was particularly impressive in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, especially in the Yuan Temple, where there are two large murals of the Yuan Dynasty, which are basically intact and rare in China.

About 200 meters east of Wang Yao Hall, there is a cliff statue with 8 niches of different sizes and 43 Buddha statues. According to the records of rebuilding historic sites in Qing Dynasty, the statues here were transformed from temples, including a statue of Guanyin, which is 1.8 meters high, graceful, muscular and artistic. Stylistically, it belongs to the works of Sui Dynasty. There are also sitting shrines in the Jin and Ming Dynasties, and the rest are works of the Tang Dynasty. These statues have relief and round carvings, the largest of which is more than ten feet high, and the smallest is only 1 foot. They are vivid, beautifully carved, with smooth lines, strong muscles and pleasant expressions. They are famous ancient stone carving art in Weibei, Guanzhong. The statues and monuments of Wang Yaoshan are also precious historical sites. There are more than 0/00 stone tablets of various statues from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, including the tablet of Wei Wenlang (AD 424), which is called the beginning of the Northern Wei Dynasty. There are statues of Yao Boduo brothers, who are known as the three wonders, and many inscriptions reflecting religious music, classics and other contents, which provide rare historical materials for religious research, national history research and sculpture art. There are more than 0/50 famous historical sites in past dynasties, including nearly 30 stone carvings. There is a famous temple tablet of Zhang Heshang (the tablet is titled "Chun Yun Zhuan Shu" in the Northern Song Dynasty). These stone tablets are stored in the five rooms and one corridor on the west side of Wang Yaodian, which is called Yaoxian Forest of Steles.

Wang Yao is a famous tourist attraction in Weibei of Guanzhong, which integrates landscape and human landscape, and is rich in cultural relics. 196 1 year Yaowangshan stone carving was listed as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. After the renovation, Wang Yao can be called an ancient art exhibition hall and an ancient medical museum.
