The whole couplet means: everyone wants to find a "medicine to prolong life" and wants to prolong life. In fact, you don't need to look outside for this medicine. It is the best raw material. In other words, only by maintaining a healthy schedule and pleasant physical and mental health can we refine the real "longevity medicine". The first "life-prolonging drug" and the second "life-prolonging drug" refer to the same thing.

Seeing this "heavenly book" couplet, the local people think it was written by "Taishang Laojun", because it summarizes the basic content of Taoist health preservation and the true meaning of self-cultivation, which is why it is extremely precious.
