Guizhou Zhenjiu is produced in Zunyi, Guizhou. Because of the influence of geographical environment in the early years, the output of Tian Fei Maotai was insufficient, and it was produced with the same technology, equipment and raw materials. It was used as a different experimental base in Maotai, Tian Fei. 1986, according to the inscription of "Treasures in Wine" by Fang Yi, then Vice Premier of the State Council, Mao Yi was used as the original "Guizhou Maotai Yidi Experimental Factory", and Mao Yi was used as the later "Guizhou Zunyi Brewing Research Experimental Base".
