The road from Dongwuqi to Aershan needs to be reminded not to take the border unless you deliberately challenge the performance of off-road vehicles! This border line, also called S303, runs along the border between China and Mongolia and passes through Hubaolage and Baogeda Forest Farm. This road is estimated to be under construction in recent years and it is difficult to walk.

From Aledeer to S203, it's all roads. When we are about to arrive in Aershan, there is a road called S203 old line, which can enter the downtown area of Aershan. Take the route of Chifeng:

1, Chengde, Chifeng, Tongliao, Holingol, Aershan

2. Chengde, Chifeng, Arukerqin Banner, Zhalute Banner, Holingol and Aershan

There is not much difference between 1 and 2. There is a high-speed from Chifeng to Tongliao, which means that you can get to Tongliao all the way from Beijing, so don't worry. The time will be shorter. If you choose to live in Tongliao, the advantage is that it is convenient to drive and the accommodation conditions in Tongliao are better.

If you choose to go to Aqi or tie the flag, get off at Chifeng. In fact, the road conditions are quite good, and the roads in Inner Mongolia are basically good as long as they do not encounter road repairs. Choosing this road scenery is definitely much more fun than driving expressway. In addition, it's more fun to stop on national and provincial roads if you want. I usually go this way and live in Zhalute Banner.
