Materials: Carassius auratus 500g, Codonopsis pilosula 15g, Angelica sinensis 15g, Rehmannia glutinosa 15g, Dioscorea opposita 15g and salt 3g.

Scales, gills and internal organs of crucian carp are removed and washed with clear water; Wash Radix Codonopsis, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata and Rhizoma Dioscoreae with clear water.

Put Radix Codonopsis, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata and Rhizoma Dioscoreae into a pot, add appropriate amount of water, boil with strong fire, then simmer for 1 hour, add crucian carp, cook for 20 minutes, and add salt.

Carassius auratus is mild and sweet, and belongs to spleen, stomach and large intestine meridian.
