Shisan Town is located in the southeast of Pingjiang County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, 20 kilometers away from the county seat. During the Republic of China, the town belonged to Zhong Xian Township, the third district. At the beginning of the People's Republic of China, it was Sanshi Township, and 1956 was Qingxiang Township. 1958 was transferred to Dongfanghong People's Commune, and 196 1 year was reduced to a stable and refreshing commune; 1984 rural social reform; 1995 three towns were formed by the merger of the original Qingxin, three cities and two townships.
