I. D3 test:
1, and store the sample for 7 days; 2. Soak the sample in cold water at room temperature for 6 hours; 3. Put the sample in an oven at 40+/-3C for at least 18 hours until the water content of the sample drops to the pre-test level; 4, check the glue line cracking rate.
This method is suitable for monitoring the quality of customers' products. Generally, the quality of furniture products that pass this test can be guaranteed, but it is impossible to distinguish the quality of the adhesive used.
Second, the D4 test:
1, and store the sample for 7 days; 2. Soak the sample in boiling water for 4 hours; 3. Soak the sample in cold water at room temperature for 65438 0 hours; 4. Put the sample in a 50+/-3C oven for at least 18 hours until the water content of the sample drops to the pre-test level; 5, check the glue line cracking rate.
For the samples taken from the production line of furniture factory, the deformation degree of adjacent substrates is inconsistent in the boiling process, which leads to greater stress at the bonding surface, and the wet strength of glue is often limited, which is generally difficult to overcome, so the glue joint is easy to crack. If this method is used in adhesive testing, it is difficult to objectively evaluate the quality of adhesive because of the difference of substrate.
Third, JAS cold water immersion peeling test:
1, and store the sample for 7 days; 2. Soak the sample in cold water at room temperature for 6 hours; 3. Put the sample in an oven at 40+/-3C for at least 18 hours until the water content of the sample drops to the pre-test level; 4, check the glue line cracking rate. Similar to D3.
Four, JAS boiling water immersion peeling test:
1, and store the sample for 7 days; 2. Soak the sample in boiling water for 4 hours; 3. Soak the sample in cold water at room temperature for 65438 0 hours; 4. Put the sample in a 70+/-3C oven for at least 18 hours until the water content of the sample drops to the pre-test level; 5, check the glue line cracking rate.
This test is more severe than D4 (the drying temperature is higher), and the adhesive layer is more likely to crack at the joint surface under the action of two stresses caused by water absorption expansion and dehydration contraction of the substrate. Therefore, the test results will be more obviously influenced by the substrate.
V. ASTM- 12 1 1 test:
1, and store the sample for 7 days; 2. Put the sample in an oven at 50C for 65438 0 hours; 3. Leave the sample at room temperature for 0.5 hour; 4. Put the sample in an oven at -20C for 65438 0 hours; 4. Check the glue
Whether the line is cracked. Cycle the test until the adhesive layer cracks, or the adhesive layer does not crack after five cycles.
If the adhesive has good flexibility or heat resistance, it can pass the test.
