College students are in the transitional stage from adolescence to adulthood. Scientific and reasonable diet and nutrition are helpful to improve college students' physical quality and learning efficiency. However, contemporary college students generally lack nutrition knowledge, and their dietary consumption behavior is basically blind and random, and few people can treat their diet scientifically. This paper will discuss the problems existing in the dietary consumption behavior of contemporary college students and how to help them form healthy dietary consumption behavior.

First, the problems of contemporary college students' dietary consumption behavior

1. Don't eat breakfast or the nutritional quality of breakfast is not high. College students generally do not attach importance to breakfast, and a considerable number of college students do not eat breakfast or the nutritional quality of breakfast is not high. Many studies at home and abroad show that students who skip breakfast and have poor nutritional quality will seriously affect their digital application ability, creative imagination and physical development. Therefore, we should pay attention to the breakfast education for college students, make them realize the importance of eating breakfast, and let them know the types, quantities and nutritional collocation of breakfast food.

2. Prefer snacks. It is common that college students like to eat snacks, especially girls. The energy and nutrition provided by snacks are not as balanced and comprehensive as those provided by dinner. Moreover, most snacks are too heavy, too sweet or too salty, and high in fat, sugar and salt, which not only affects the appetite of college students for dinner, but also easily leads to the lack of nutrients such as calcium, iron, zinc, iodine and vitamins. Therefore, it is necessary to teach college students to choose snacks with relatively balanced and comprehensive nutrition, so that they can enjoy the pleasure of eating snacks and get good nutrition.

3. I prefer foreign fast food. From the point of view of nutrition, foreign fast food is generally a food with more meat and less vegetables, high energy, high fat, low dietary fiber, low vitamins and low minerals. For example, potatoes have high nutritional value and are rich in vitamins, minerals and high-quality starch. Potato chips and potato chips fried with potatoes will absorb a lot of oil, increase energy and destroy vitamins, which is a typical "energy bomb".

4. I prefer fried food. Fried foods such as fried dough sticks, pancakes, fried peanuts and fried eggs are favored by college students because of their delicious taste and crispness. This kind of food can produce a large number of toxic substances with strong carcinogenic effect, such as acrylamide, phenylpropyl pyrene, etc., and fried foods should not be eaten more.

5. Eat out of school. College students, especially boys, eat out of school more often than girls. The reasons for choosing off-campus meals are as follows: some people think that off-campus meals are moderate in price and delicious than school canteens; Some people think that off-campus dining is free and convenient, not limited by time and place; Some often go out to eat because of classmates and friends' gatherings. Most students choose restaurants, street shops and stalls around the school for off-campus dining, but most of these places are in poor conditions, lack of disinfection equipment and poor dining environment, which has serious food safety hazards.

6. Drink less boiled water. Many college students don't have the habit of drinking water voluntarily, and they don't drink enough water every day. When they are very thirsty, they often binge drink. Nowadays, there are more and more bottled water and drinks, and some college students with good family conditions often use it instead of drinking boiled water, thinking that it is more nutritious than drinking boiled water, especially preferring sugary drinks and fruit juice. In fact, from a health point of view, boiled water is the best drink, which contains a variety of minerals and trace elements beneficial to the human body, and can be directly absorbed and utilized by the human body without digestion.

7. Low intake of vegetables and fruits. The unreasonable dietary structure of college students is also manifested in the high intake of staple food and less intake of vegetables and fruits. Vegetables and fruits can provide calcium, phosphorus, iron and other vitamins and minerals needed for daily and long-term health. They can also increase dietary fiber, contribute to the acid-base balance in the body, and thus achieve a balanced diet pattern.

8. Irregular diet. A considerable number of college students have irregular meal time and meal interval for three meals a day, and even the distribution of food intake for three meals is irregular and random. If you don't eat enough or eat too much, it will damage the function of the spleen and stomach. Irregular diet and hunger are the main causes of digestive system disorder. Long-term irregularity will lead to diseases, so we must pay attention to it.

Second, how to help contemporary college students form healthy dietary consumption behavior

1. Help college students acquire scientific nutrition knowledge. Nutrition knowledge tells people how to eat all kinds of foods scientifically and reasonably, and get proper amounts of nutrients from them, which can prevent malnutrition or overnutrition and eliminate health risk factors, thus maintaining good health. At present, many college students lack nutrition knowledge and have many misunderstandings in food selection, consumption and eating behavior, which will have a negative impact on their nutritional status and health. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out comprehensive nutrition education and publicity for college students and gradually improve their nutrition knowledge level.

2. Help college students to establish a correct concept of nutrition. The correct concept of nutrition is the driving force for college students to transform their nutritional knowledge into behaviors and habits. The influence of nutrition on health is a gradual process, and the dietary structure is unreasonable. It will take a long time for the harm of bad eating habits such as picky eaters and overeating to appear. Only when the human body obtains comprehensive and balanced nutrition can it effectively maintain health. The growth and development status, nutritional status and demand for nutrients of college students are often different due to different geographical environments and living standards in different regions. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out targeted nutrition education for college students to help them establish a personalized dietary structure so that everyone can reach the best level.

3. Help college students form healthy eating habits. The ultimate goal of nutrition education is to urge people to establish and form healthy dietary consumption behaviors and habits. Teachers should guide college students to consume food wisely, and strive to help them gradually get rid of unhealthy food consumption behaviors and habits and optimize their dietary structure. According to China residents' dietary guidelines and pagodas, vigorously promote nutritious meals. Intervention measures should be taken to improve the nutritional status of college students and prevent various chronic diseases related to nutrition. At the same time, college students' self-discipline, self-education and self-practice are very important for them to form healthy eating habits. Through scientific dietary practice, I will turn good eating habits, healthy recipes and eating patterns into my lifelong hobbies and consciously reflect them in my daily life.

Obtaining scientific nutrition knowledge is the foundation of college students, establishing correct nutrition concept is the driving force to form healthy behavior, and developing healthy eating habits is the ultimate goal. When carrying out nutrition education for college students, we must deal with the relationship between the three, organically combine them, penetrate and promote each other, and help college students actively transform their nutrition knowledge and concepts into conscious behaviors, and finally achieve the goal of improving health.
