Introduction of Bai Jiao Tzu Chi Palace
Emperor Baosheng, formerly known as Wu Kun (Niantao), also known as Wu Zhenren, Ci Gong and Da Dao Gong, was born in Bai Jiao Village, Tongan County (now jiao mei zhen, Longhai City) in the fourth year of Xingguo, Song Taiping. He was a famous doctor in the Northern Song Dynasty, with superb medical skills, saving the world and saving people, and was deeply admired and worshipped by the people. Speaking of it, Wu Zhenren, Green Pepper and Yanshi family in Taiwan Province Province also forged an indissoluble bond. According to historical records, in 1036, Wu Zhenren fell off a cliff and died. In the 18th year of Shaoxing in Song Dynasty (1 148), scholar Yan proposed to build the "East Palace" to commemorate Wu Zhenren. In the 20th year of Shaoxing in Song Dynasty (1 150), Yan Shilu, a senior official of the official department, invited Song Gaozong to build a temple for Wu Zhenren, formerly known as "East Temple". Song Gaozong allowed visitors to visit and sent ministers to supervise the construction of a five-hall palace-style grand palace named "Tzu Chi Hall". The temple was first built at the foot of Dongming Mountain of Qingjiao, and was given to the charity base by Uncle Yan Yan of Yanshilutang. This is the origin of the earliest East Palace. After the completion of the temple, believers from Zhang Quan and Quanzhou came to pay homage to their ancestors, and the ceremony was packed with people. Decades later, local factions often caused disputes over ancestor worship. So in Li Jishan (now the birthplace of Wu Zhenren in Bai Jiao Village, jiao mei zhen, Longhai City), Bai Jiao Tzu Chi Palace was built, which was placed under the jurisdiction of five counties in Quanzhou, while Qingjiao Tzu Chi Palace was the place where seven counties in Zhangzhou worshipped their ancestors, forming Qingjiao Tzu Chi Palace. Since then, despite the change of dynasties and social unrest, people's faith in Wu Zhenren has remained unchanged. The Puritan Tzu Chi Palace has been restored many times with the help of Yan Sunzi, and a large number of historical relics have been preserved relatively intact so far. Kangxi thirty-six years (1697), Zhong Yan, Yan Ying, etc. In the 19th year of Jiaqing (18 14), it was rebuilt by Yan Zhongying and Li Dong.
