Introduction to Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a university established by the people's governments of state administration of traditional chinese medicine and Jiangxi Province, a national doctoral degree authorized unit, and a counterpart support institution of the Central United Front Work Department, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Education in the western region. It is the only "basic culture ground for medical postgraduates (preparatory courses) with high-level backbone talents from ethnic minorities" among medical colleges and universities in China, the scholarship receiving institution of China government for overseas students in China, and the second batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.

The history of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine can be traced back to 195 1 Jiangxi Pharmaceutical College and 1953 Jiangxi School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in1959;

1969 in may, the school merged with Jiangxi medical college to form Jiangxi medical university;
