In ancient China, TCM health care focused on physiological health care; Modern mainly pays attention to physical and mental health; Contemporary people especially emphasize physical, psychological and philosophical health preservation. This "three principles" health care embodies three efficacy views at different levels of TCM health care.
? The first layer is physical health. The ancients paid attention to four ways of keeping in good health: first, the way of exercise is moderate exercise, which can exercise bones and muscles and dredge qi and blood; Second, the way to rest is proper rest, which can reduce consumption and keep fit; Third, the way of food nutrition is balanced nutrition, which can make the diet moderate and smooth; Fourth, the way of life and upbringing is a regular life, which can make the spirit happy and the mood stable. If we can "get something for nothing", be cautious about sexual intercourse, abstain from prostitution, avoid external evils, pay attention to internal adjustment, and be supplemented by necessary self-care and drug treatment, we can live a long and healthy life. Today, it seems that this pure physical health preservation can be said to be a shallow health preservation.
The second layer is mental health. One is to adjust emotions, and the other is to cultivate virtue. Because people's emotional activities and moral cultivation have a great relationship with people's physical and mental health.
? The third layer is philosophical health preservation. The so-called "philosophy" health preservation is mainly to master the law of unity of opposites and the dichotomy. The concepts of "six natures" and "four views" of health preservation put forward by Wang Fuzhi, a famous thinker and philosopher in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, are in the same strain as this view.
