How to choose plate for wardrobe?
Top ten plate brands Haotaitai plate reveals the common plates of custom wardrobe.

There are big core board, density board (fiberboard), multi-layer solid wood board, solid wood particle board, fir board and paint-free board.

(1) large core board: also called blockboard, also called plywood. The plates are processed into strips with certain specifications, spliced by a splicing machine, and then pressed by hot and cold pressing glue.

Advantages: good nail grip, high strength, strong quality, sound absorption, heat insulation and so on. The moisture content of the blockboard is not high, ranging from10% to13%, and the processing is simple.

Disadvantages: A large number of urea-formaldehyde adhesives are used in the production process, resulting in high formaldehyde emission, low environmental protection standards and pungent taste. Veneers with different materials and densities are easy to warp and deform, which affects the appearance and use effect. The surface of the large core board is rough and needs to be reworked by carpenters on site.

(2) Density board: also called fiberboard, it can be divided into high density board, medium density board and low density board according to different densities. At present, MDF is mainly used in the market, which is what we often call MDF.

Advantages: the surface is flat and smooth, and it is easy to coat and glue. All kinds of wood veneer, adhesive tape film, decorative board, light metal board, melamine board and other materials can be glued on the surface of MDF.

Disadvantages: the inside is the fiber of log mill, which is slightly worse than the solid wood particle board, and has high hygroscopicity, water absorption and thickness expansion rate. Because a large amount of adhesive is needed, and its powdery fiber is difficult to separate after pressing, the environmental protection coefficient can not be guaranteed to some extent.

(3) Multi-layer solid wood board: it is made of three or more layers of single boards and thin plates by sticking wood boards at high temperature and high pressure. The main base material is criss-crossing multi-layer plywood, supplemented by polymer environmental protection glue and high-quality solid wood veneer, which is made by cold pressing, hot pressing, sanding and curing.

Advantages: Veneers are glued vertically and horizontally, pressed at high temperature and high pressure, stable in structure, difficult to deform, high in strength, good in internal quality, good in flatness and stability, and the use of adhesives is reduced. Polymer glue is used in the production process, which reduces the formaldehyde content and is environmentally friendly.

Disadvantages: Because the production cost is higher than other plates, its price is also higher than other plates.

(4) Solid wood particle board: it is an artificial board made by cutting branches, small-diameter wood, fast-growing wood and other base materials into pieces with certain specifications, drying them, and mixing them with aldehyde-free adhesive, hardener, waterproof agent, etc. It is made by pressing at high temperature and high pressure. Its cross section is similar to that of particleboard, so it is called solid wood particleboard, which is an "upgraded version" of particleboard.

Advantages: uniform texture, better nail holding power, bending resistance and stability than ordinary particleboard and powder density board, and better environmental protection performance than density board. After high temperature, high pressure and sterilization treatment, it is not easy to produce mold and insects, and it is the best material for panel furniture industry.

Disadvantages: Due to its own structural reasons, the shape can't change much. Because of the material, if the wood mill is uneven, it will be uneven.

(5) Fir board: also known as Chinese fir integrated board and Chinese fir finger joint board. Large-format thick plate spliced with short wood tenons is one of the most environmentally friendly decorative plates in interior decoration, and does not need to use a lot of glue and bonding. At present, Chinese fir is widely used, so it is commonly known as Chinese fir board.

Advantages: All-high-quality wood, with only seven-tenths of the amount of glue used in blockboard, is an environmentally friendly product. Durable, insect-free, deformation-free, flat and smooth, and there is no need to stick a panel on the surface when making home and furniture, which saves labor and materials and is economical.

Disadvantages: poor quality and low price integrated board, moisture content is not up to standard, easy to deform, and will crack after a long time.

(6) Paint-free board: a layer of melamine paper with wooden patterns is pasted on the surface, so that the furniture made by this method need not be painted again, which is more environmentally friendly? Healthy.

Advantages: natural texture, clear wood grain, no color difference on the surface of the product, self-extinguishing, washable, wear-resistant, moisture-proof, anti-corrosive, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, dust-free, and not prone to mildew and blackening. There is no need for painting, which can save the labor and cost of painting after construction and shorten the construction time.

Disadvantages: high price, short service life, exquisite, once damaged, it is difficult to repair.
