What is the worldly desires of secular desire in TCM?
As we all know, everyone has "worldly desires". The seven emotions refer to joy, anger, thinking, sadness, fear, worry and surprise, among which joy, anger, sadness and fear are the basic emotions; Six desires are called lust, appearance, dignity, manners, voice, smoothness and human desire in Buddhist wisdom, among which lust is the most important.

As we all know, desire starts from the heart, emotion is external, and desire is the physiological basis of emotion as a disease. If the six desires fail, there must be seven emotions. According to this, scholars of past dynasties talked about health preservation, either advocating "being heartbroken" or devoting themselves to the outside world and advocating "doing nothing". In ancient times, Ji Kang put forward "five difficulties" in health preservation-fame and fortune are one difficulty, emotion is two, emotion is three, taste is four, and distraction is five.

It is extremely difficult and unnecessary for people to master secular desires and Ji Kang's "five difficulties". You can only pay attention to things as much as possible so as not to affect your physical and mental health.

There was a news in the newspaper that a man had a rough life. In the year of "no doubt", he wrote such a motto for himself: "Don't live in vain, don't be afraid of death, don't pursue glory, and don't avoid humiliation." What a free and easy school. As a result, this first lived to the age of "Gu Xi" and was still very healthy. On the contrary, some people often go on the rampage for trifles, stay up all night, complain endlessly, chatter endlessly, and break into a furious rage. Some people are hard to convince, keep it in their hearts for a long time, and often have a hard time with themselves, which will inevitably affect their physical and mental health.

On the road of life, everyone will encounter all kinds of problems, big and small, and the situation is different. To adapt to life, we must survive from generation to generation under our own living conditions through the natural law of survival of the fittest and elimination of the unsuitable. People's secular desire refers to the evolution of species to human beings, which endows human beings with the talent of truth, goodness and beauty, and makes human life magnificent and prosperous. It is not difficult to imagine that if people have no lust, they will become a walking corpse. If people have no desire and do nothing, don't they become vegetarians? Society is not a society.

Song Qi in Song Dynasty was a great academician. He said in Gong Zhu of Song Wenjing: "There is nothing wrong with people's mood. How sad I am, how sad I am, how happy I am, how angry I am, how angry I am. If my heart is waiting for the post, I will be worried, angry and give up soon; Just stay less. If I stay, I will be my bag. The spirit is extremely high. " Life is impossible, there are no joys and sorrows. If you occasionally encounter worldly desires, you'd better treat them as passing clouds, forget what happened, and don't keep them in your heart for a long time, which will disturb and torture your soul. Otherwise, the joys and sorrows will linger. Then, our pure body will not become a capsule of lust.
