-"Su Wen, Angry to Heaven"
Everything in the world, from ethnic distribution to human pores, organs and joints, corresponds to the four seasons of Yin and Yang.
The theory of five zang-organs in TCM is based on the theory of yin-yang and five elements. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the five internal organs belong to the five elements, that is, fire belongs to the heart, water belongs to the kidney, wood belongs to the liver, metal lung belongs to the spleen. Every season in a year is dominated by different five elements, seeking the same qi. Therefore, Chinese medicine believes that the zang-fu organs that govern qi are different in each season. For example, the liver belongs to spring, the heart belongs to summer, the lung belongs to autumn, the kidney belongs to winter, and the spleen belongs to the last 18 days of each season. The five internal organs correspond to different seasons, so they have the characteristics of each season. It will get twice the result with half the effort to recuperate in the season to which the five internal organs belong. At the same time, if there is too much dirty gas, there will also be an imbalance between yin and yang in the human body, which will lead to diseases.
(1) Spring liver
Oriental blue, entering the liver, opening the eyes, storing essence in the liver.
-"A Brief Introduction to the Golden Chamber of Su Wen"
Spring is located in the east of the five elements, belonging to wood, mainly cyan, communicating with the liver and opening the liver to the eyes. The spiritual information carried by spring is reflected in the function of the liver.
Medical care interpretation
The corresponding organ in spring is the liver, which is located in the abdominal cavity, under the diaphragm and on the right abdomen. Chinese medicine believes that the liver is the residence of the soul. For sleepwalking and other restless diseases, Chinese medicine generally thinks that there is a problem with the function of the liver. The liver stores blood vessels, which is the master of the whole body muscles, and has the function of promoting the operation of human qi and making it smooth. Because of its strong nature, the liver is called "the official of the general" in the human body.
Liver is based on yin and blood, and its function is to raise liver yang. Its essence is that it likes flowing smoothly, but it is afraid of stagnation. The physiological function of the liver is closely related to blood and people's emotional activities. In the subtle influence of Shui Gu, it can promote the smooth operation of the ascending and descending qi of the spleen and stomach, and promote the normal operation of qi, blood and water.
The emotion corresponding to the liver is anger, and the vaginal fluid is tears. The liver has a maintenance effect on the tendons everywhere in the human body, so the liver function is normal, showing that the fingers are round and shiny.
The hole outside corresponding to the liver is the eye. The meridians of the liver and gallbladder are connected by collaterals.
The physiological characteristics of the liver can be summarized as the following aspects.
First, the liver is strong and irritable.
The ancients compared the liver to the "general" of the country. It not only has the brave and strong side of the general, but also has the characteristics of impatience, love to move but not quiet. In view of these characteristics of the liver, when the liver is diseased, it is manifested as the change of liver qi and abnormal excitement.
Because of this characteristic of the liver, people often think that the liver "uses Yang instead of Yin". "Body Yin" refers to the external morphology of the liver. The liver is dirty, and the dirty is yin relative to the fu organs, followed by the dirty storing blood, which can also be seen from our modern anatomy. The liver is almost the organ with the largest blood volume in the human body, and the blood belongs to yin. In addition, in the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the liver is located in the lower jiao of the triple-jiao pathway of the human body and belongs to the yin. So from these aspects, the liver itself is yin.
Liver "using Yang" mainly refers to the physiological function of the liver. Just now, the role of the liver in the human body is like a commanding general bringing peace and stability to the country, and its vigorous and resolute gas field symbolizes abundant yang. Furthermore, fire is hidden in the liver and rises with the increase of liver qi. Secondly, the liver is the dirty of wind and wood, and the atmosphere is changeable. The subject is active, and the active is Yang. Different from other zang-fu organs, when the function of other zang-fu organs is weak, it is generally manifested as yang deficiency, while the function of liver is weakened, but it is often manifested as deficiency of liver yin, deficiency of liver blood and hyperactivity of liver yang. Such as dizziness, convulsions, etc. What we often see is that the liver yin is weak, which can't guide it into the normal track, and the liver yang is out of control, which leads to the abnormality of the human body.
Liver yin and liver yang should support each other. The liver is just dirty and impatient, and only softening the liver yin can calm its violent and informal qi. Liver yin also depends on the normal work of liver yang, so that qi and blood can be normal and nourished.
Second, the liver likes to achieve its purpose and is disgusted with depression.
The liver belongs to wood, which echoes the natural spring hair. In the human body, the liver also maintains the role of qi and blood in hair growth. It is strong, easily excited and easily repressed. Therefore, the liver qi should be kept in a stable state, which can neither be suppressed nor too unruly. For people, the mental state of anger or depression is most likely to affect the function of the liver. Anger can lead to hyperactivity of liver yang, red face and eyes, head swelling and headache; When the mood is low, the liver qi will stagnate, and the qi will stagnate for a long time, and it can also turn fire into heat, leading to diseases such as liver fire and liver wind.
Third, the liver corresponds to spring.
Man and nature refer to each other, and the liver belongs to wood, which corresponds to the spring of nature. Everything grows and flourishes in spring, and it is a symbol of vitality everywhere. At this time, the vitality of heaven and earth is abundant, which is conducive to the growth and regulation of human liver qi. If the weather is normal in spring, patients with liver disease can gradually get better with the help of natural qi in spring. If the weather is abnormal in spring and there are too many "Jueyin Feng Mu" which is the main qi, it will become an evil. Chinese medicine believes that "wind" is the root of all diseases, and "wind" is the chief culprit of many diseases. Too much atmosphere in spring will also have a bad effect on the liver.
The liver can ensure the smooth flow of qi and regulate the blood volume of the human body. Therefore, the maintenance of the liver is mainly carried out from these two aspects, so that the yin and yang of the liver can maintain a harmonious state.
