Shen Fu (1763- 1825), whose real name is Yimei, was born in Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu) in the 28th year of Qing Qianlong. Forty-two years after Qianlong (1777), he went to Shaoxing, Zhejiang to study with his father. In the forty-ninth year of Qianlong (1784), Emperor Qianlong toured the south of the Yangtze River, and Shen Fu followed his father to meet him. Later, he came to Suzhou to engage in wine industry. In the 13th year of Jiaqing (1808), he wrote the autobiographical novel Six Chapters of a Floating Life.

Six Chapters of a Floating Life consists of six volumes, and each volume has a small topic, which is followed by boudoir, leisure, sorrow, wandering travels, Zhongshan calendar, and ways of keeping in good health. According to textual research, the last two volumes are forgeries, and the words are not as good as before. This work is an autobiographical novel.

Nikolai ostrovsky (1904 ~ 1936) is a Soviet writer. 1929 paralyzed and blind. 1930, based on his own combat experience, he began to write the novel "How Steel was Tempered" with tenacious will. The novel was a great success and was praised sincerely and enthusiastically by its contemporaries. 1934, ostrovsky was admitted as a member of the Soviet Writers Association.
