Supplement these five nutrients.
Now people's living standards have improved, but some people have high cholesterol because of their eating habits. High cholesterol is very harmful to human body. So what can you eat to lower your cholesterol? This issue of dietotherapy will be analyzed for you.

1, Redmi

Monascus rice, which is what we call Redmi. There is evidence that monascus rice can significantly reduce the level of low density lipoprotein ("bad" cholesterol). Monacolin K contained in monascus rice is similar to the active ingredient in cholesterol-lowering statins. The cholesterol-lowering effect of monascus rice may not be as good as statins, but people who want to lower cholesterol slightly can choose healthier natural monascus rice.

2. Flaxseed

Flaxseed can lower cholesterol and triglycerides, and effectively lower blood lipids! Flaxseed and flaxseed oil contain α -linolenic acid (ALA), which is an essential part of ω-3 fatty acids and can be effectively converted into DHA and EPA in the body, similar to fish oil. There is ample evidence that flaxseed and flaxseed oil may reduce cholesterol levels, but it has not been proved whether flaxseed can improve heart disease. In reducing triglyceride level, only a large amount of linseed oil (38-60 grams) will have obvious effect.

3. Hawthorn

Animal experiments show that hawthorn extract can reduce the levels of total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein "bad" cholesterol, but whether it can affect human cholesterol level is still unknown.

Step 4: garlic

Some studies have found that garlic can reduce the level of total cholesterol in blood by several percentage points, but it has only a short-term effect. There are also some studies that think it is not as effective as initially thought. In addition, garlic can prolong bleeding and clotting time, so garlic should not be used before operation, and garlic should not be used with blood dilution drugs (such as coumarin).

5. Canosin (Prenol)

This element is extracted from sugarcane, and studies have shown that it can effectively reduce low-density cholesterol harmful to human body. Most of the supplements on the market are extracted from beeswax, not from sugarcane. There is no evidence that polinol extracted from beeswax can lower cholesterol. The effectiveness and safety of polinol extracted from sugarcane need further study.
