Do adopted children need to support their biological parents?
No need. As long as the child is adopted to form an adoption relationship with others, the rights and obligations of the child and the biological parents will be eliminated, and the adopted child will have no obligation to support the biological parents. Parents have the obligation to support, educate and protect their minor children. Adult children have the obligation to support, help and protect their parents. If you adopt the child to others, you can give it to others as your son. Now this son is not your son. He was raised by others, and he has to support his adoptive parents when he dies. It is unreasonable to support his biological parents now. After all, it is the adoptive parents who have devoted their efforts to the growth of their children, which is what we often say. Relatives and friends, people's approval, or relevant organizations' certificates clearly show that adoptive parents and adopted children have lived together for a long time, although they have not gone through legal procedures, they should also be regarded as adoption relationships. If "adopted" children and "adoptive parents" form a dependency relationship, they are adopted children and enjoy the right of inheritance with each other; If it is a feudal "adoption" or "heir", if there is no dependency relationship, it cannot enjoy the right of inheritance. From the date of adoption, the adoptee and the legitimate children of the adopter have exactly the same legal status and rights and obligations. The adopter can only adopt 1 child, but the adoption of orphans, disabled children who can't find their biological parents or abandoned babies raised by social welfare institutions can be exempted from the restriction that the adopter has no children and adopts one child. If the spouse adopts a child, the husband and wife must adopt it together. If a man without a spouse adopts a woman, the age difference between the adopter and the adoptee should be over 40 years old.

Adoption procedures should adopt the following procedures:

1. Both adoptive parties meet the conditions prescribed by law;

2. Register with the civil affairs department of the people's government at or above the county level;

3, the civil affairs departments of the people's governments at or above the county level shall conduct adoption assessment according to law;

4. After adoption, the household registration shall be conducted according to law.

Legal basis:

People's Republic of China (PRC) Civil Code

Article 111 The provisions of this Law on the relationship between parents and adopted children shall apply to the relationship of rights and obligations between adoptive parents and adopted children from the date when the adoption relationship is established. The provisions of this law on the relationship between children and their parents' close relatives shall apply to the relationship between adopted children and their parents. The relationship of rights and obligations between adopted children and biological parents and other close relatives is destroyed by the establishment of adoption relationship.
