abstract

Francesca (Meryl Streep)' s children read her mother's old letters, revealing a touching feeling that she didn't know before her death. /kloc-one day in 0/965, Francesca was alone at home, the last cowboy and photojournalist Robert? Kincaid (Clint Eastwood) stops at her door and asks her where Madison Bridge is. She took him to the bridge, and after finishing the work, he gave her a handful of wild chrysanthemums to express his gratitude. An indescribable taste rippled in her heart. She put a note on the bridge and invited him to have dinner. He had a wonderful evening with her when he came voluntarily. For the next two days, they stayed together all day.

But Francesca couldn't give up her children and worldly happiness, and Robert finally left by himself. A few years later, they had a brief glimpse at the supermarket gate. At that time, Francesca resisted the impulse to rush up, and the rain all over the sky became their tears of farewell.
