What is the complete sentence of Zhuge Liang's famous saying "When traveling with a gentleman, you should be quiet and frugal, and you should cultivate yourself"?
Zhuge Liang's Book of Commandments

A gentleman's journey is quiet and self-cultivation, frugal and self-cultivation, not indifferent to ambition, not quiet and not far away. A gentleman must be quiet before he can learn, not for broadmindedness but for success. If he is slow, he can't be energetic. If he is dangerous and impetuous, he can't be cured. If time goes by, his intentions will fade, and he will not be able to meet the world. What will happen?

Original text;

A gentleman's trip is to cultivate one's morality by quietness and frugality. If you are not indifferent, you will have no clear ambition. If you are not quiet, you will have to learn. If he has no knowledge, he won't succeed. If he is slow, he will not be able to concentrate. If he is dangerous, he will not be able to control his sexual desire. If time goes by, his heart will fade away, he will wither, he will not meet the world, he will be sad and stay in a poor house.

Translation:

The character of a person with both ability and political integrity is cultivated by inner peace and concentration, and by frugal style. If you don't look down on worldly fame and fortune, you can't be clear about your ambitions. Without physical and mental peace, you can't realize your lofty ideals. You must concentrate on your studies, and you must study hard to increase your talents. If you don't study hard, you can't increase your intelligence. If you don't know your ambition, you can't achieve anything in your study. If you pursue excessive enjoyment and laziness, you can't cultivate your temperament if you are frivolous and irritable. With the passage of time, your will will wear away with the passage of time, and eventually you will be as useless to society as a dead tree. How can you stay in a broken house and sigh sadly?
