Xiacun Town is located in the northwest of Zezhou County, Jincheng City, with Qinshui in the west and Gaoping in the north. It is the "hometown of coal and iron" and "hometown of economy" in the county. Vu Thang Mountain, the highest mountain in the county, is located in this town, where the famous long river originated. The town covers an area of 104 square kilometer, including 33 administrative villages and 47 natural villages, with 9,900 households and 37,000 people.
