How many days can the cement stabilized layer be maintained before paving asphalt?
The curing period of cement stabilized layer should not be less than 7 days. Maintenance period is less than 7 days, should be paved with asphalt surface, and restrict the passage of heavy vehicles.

In layered construction of cement stabilized soil, after the lower layer of cement stabilized soil is rolled, the upper layer of cement stabilized soil can be paved in one day without 7-day curing period.

After each section of cement stabilized soil has been rolled and passed the compactness inspection, the curing should be started immediately. Waterproof film or wet sand or asphalt emulsion shall be used for curing. Or use a sprinkler to spray water frequently for maintenance. During the whole curing period, the surface of the stabilized soil layer should be kept moist.

After the curing period, the prime coat asphalt shall be sprayed immediately or the next coat shall be made, and the asphalt surface course shall be paved within 5~ 10 days.
