Infectious diseases department is the only infectious diseases discipline in Changshu, with 60 beds and 0/3 specialists, including 4 with senior titles and 5 with intermediate titles. In the whole year, about 65,438+0,000 patients with various infectious diseases were treated, and more than 40,000 specialist outpatient visits were made. Relying on the advantages of technology and scale in our hospital, the department rescued a large number of patients with severe hepatitis and serious complications, and the cure rate of hospitalized patients reached over 90%. In 20001year, the clinical research on the treatment of severe hepatitis with artificial liver support system was first carried out in Suzhou county (city) hospital, which achieved good therapeutic effect and won the new technology introduction award of the Municipal Health Bureau in 2003. As a scientific and technological achievement in 2005, this project passed the expert appraisal. In 2004, the exploratory treatment of fatty liver and alcoholic hepatitis was carried out, and at the same time, various new diagnosis and treatment technologies were carried out, including quantitative detection of HBVDNA by fluorescence PCR, laboratory detection of liver fibrosis index, and ascites concentration reinfusion technology to treat intractable ascites, which reached the level of Suzhou. The department has established long-term cooperative relations with Shanghai Center for Chronic Liver Disease and the Department of Infectious Diseases of the First Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University. Well-known experts regularly come to the outpatient clinic for consultation, and set up outpatient clinics for special diseases such as hepatitis B turning negative and fatty liver. In recent years, the Department of Infectious Diseases has also undertaken clinical teaching in the Medical College of Yangzhou University and clinical practice teaching in many schools such as South Medical University and Jiangsu University.
