The origin of snake boxing
Snake Boxing is one of Shaolin Five Boxing, which evolved from eighteen arhats. According to legend, Dharma taught the monk eighteen arhats in Shaolin to solve their difficulties, which is actually a kind of gymnastics with four limbs moving. Later, Jue Yuan's master went out to seek skills, met Bai Yufeng and Chaucer, and invited them to the temple. Bai Yufeng and others have made rich evolution on the basis of the Eighteen Arhats, adding strong martial arts content, and evolved into five Shaolin boxing methods: dragon, tiger, leopard, crane and snake.
