Born in the Southern Dynasties. At the age of 65,438+00, I read Biography of Immortals, and I have the ambition to keep fit. At the age of 65,438+05, he wrote "Looking for Mountains" and admired his seclusion. At the age of 20, Emperor Gaudi of Qi was introduced to serve the kings, and later worshipped the general in Zuohoudian. At the age of 30, the eldest grandson of Daoism had Yue as his teacher and was taught by Fu, Jing and Zhao. So he traveled all over the famous mountains and rivers, looking for the true classics of fairy medicine.

In the sixth year of Yongming in the Southern Qi Dynasty (488), Yang, Yang and Yang got the original calligraphy in Maoshan. In the eighth year of Yongming's eastward journey, he met with lay masters all over the country. In the tenth year of Yongming (492), he resigned and entered the DPRK, living in seclusion in Qushan (now Maoshan, Jiangsu Province), spreading the Sutra of Shangdong and starting the Maoshan School of Taoism. After Liang Wudi acceded to the throne, he sent messengers many times, but he never got out of the mountain. Every time there is an important event in the imperial court, there should be frequent consultations and frequent correspondence. At that time, people called it "the Prime Minister in the Mountain". Tao Hongjing inherited the philosophy of Laozi and Zhuangzi and Ge Hong's immortal thought, integrated the concepts of Taoism and Buddhism, advocated the confluence of Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism, and thought that "the three religions are beyond compare".

After Lu, he made great contributions to further sorting out the Taoist scriptures. Written a real map of spiritual position, which arranged a hierarchical fairy world including gods, earthly beings and ghosts and gods. He also compiled Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica, supplemented the new drugs used by famous doctors in Wei and Jin Dynasties, and compiled seven volumes of Notes on Materia Medica, recording more than 700 kinds of drugs (the original book has been lost, and now only Dunhuang suicide note exists). His works are numerous, besides those mentioned above, there are Zhen Gao, Ascending Zhen Zang Shu, Nourishing Nature and Prolonging Life Record, Picking Golden Elixir and Huang Bai Fang, General Medical Cases, Stories of Huayang Tao's Seclusion, etc. Good at painting and calligraphy, proficient in piano, chess and calligraphy. Calligraphy works are in Cao Li, and its paintings are halal. His calligraphy and painting works include Two Cows, Shan Jutu and One.
