Maintenance scheme

Maintenance of pouring cement concrete in bridge and culvert construction

1. After general concrete pouring is completed, cover and water it as soon as possible after slurry collection; For hard concrete, concrete poured in hot weather and large-area exposed concrete such as bridge deck, a shed cover can be added immediately after pouring, and the slurry can be covered with water for curing.

2. When the temperature is lower than 5℃, plastic sheets, straw mats, etc. It should be used to cover and keep warm, and sprinkling water is not allowed.

3. The water curing time of concrete can be determined according to the temperature, humidity, cement varieties and additives, and so on and so forth, usually 7 days. It is advisable to sprinkle water every day to keep the concrete surface moist. If plastic film or chemical slurry is used for curing, there is no need to spray water for curing.

4. When the concrete of the structure comes into contact with surface water or groundwater, waterproof measures should be taken to prevent it from being eroded by water within 7 days of the curing period. When the environmental water erodes, the concrete should be guaranteed to be within lOd, and the strength should reach 70% of the design strength before it is eroded by water.

5. For the curing of mass concrete, the general temperature difference should not exceed 25℃.

6. Before the concrete strength reaches 2.5MPa, it should not be affected by the load of pedestrians and vehicles.

7. When curing concrete with steam, it shall meet the requirements of relevant specifications.
