Brief introduction of medicinal properties
This product is a refined crystal obtained by boiling mineral mirabilite. Spicy, salty, bitter, cold and non-toxic. Stomach, large intestine and triple energizer meridian. Has the effects of detoxicating, purging heat, relieving pain and improving eyesight. Modern pharmacological research shows that it has purgative effect. It can be used for stagnation of excess heat, abdominal distension and constipation, phlegm stagnation, erysipelas, typhoid fever, dysentery, carbuncle, toothache, sore throat, gum pain, and conjunctival congestion.
Effective therapy
1. Mastitis: Take 30g of mirabilite, spread it in the interlayer of two layers of gauze (slightly thicker in the middle), sew around to cover the affected area, and fix it with bandage. In hot weather, apply the medicine twice a day for 24 hours, or in severe cases, for 3 days.
2. Kaschin-Beck disease: oral mirabilite, 2-4g for adults, twice a day. Generally, there are no adverse side effects after taking medicine, and only a few people have abdominal distension or mild diarrhea when taking large doses.
3. Toothache: Take 30 grams of mirabilite and put it in a bottle for later use. When in use, take a proper amount of clean mirabilite powder and put it on the toothache, slightly bite the upper and lower teeth, then swallow it with saliva, and continue to use the liquid medicine as before. This prescription is suitable for toothache caused by wind-fire and toothache caused by stomach-fire, and can generally relieve pain in about half an hour. It can also relieve the pain of dental caries.
4. beriberi: take mirabilite 10g, dissolve it in 500ml boiling water, and put it into a basin. When the water temperature is moderate, soak the affected foot in the solution, cool it and take it out to dry. If your toe is broken and there is secretion, sprinkle some talcum powder on the affected area. Generally 1 ~ 2 times can be effective.
5. Eczema: According to the size of the skin lesions, use Glauber's salt 150 ~ 300g each time, add appropriate amount of cold boiled water to dissolve it, and then wet compress the affected area with sterile gauze or clean towel, 3 ~ 4 times a day, 30min each time or lh. Or according to the size of the affected area, take an appropriate amount of mirabilite, boiling water 1: 20 ~ 1: 30 (50g of mirabilite, dissolved in boiling water 1000 ~ 1500 ml), first smoke and then wash, 2 ~ 3 times a day, 30 minutes each time, 5th.
6. Contact dermatitis: Take mirabilite 10g, mix it with hot water at 25 ~ 40℃, and wet compress or soak the affected area after mirabilite is dissolved, three times a day, each time 15 ~ 20min. General treatment 1 day can take effect, and it can be cured in 2 ~ 5 days. Fasting spicy food during treatment. When soaking in this way, all affected parts must be soaked in liquid medicine.
7. Used for induced labor: rivanol was injected into amniotic cavity 12h before induced labor, and 200g of mirabilite was wrapped in gauze and externally applied to the umbilical region of the patient, and it was taken down after 24 hours.
8. Fracture: Use 2 pieces of gauze (determined according to the swelling range of limbs), spread 2 ~ 3 kilograms of crushed mirabilite in the gauze interlayer with a thickness of about 1cm, sew around, then apply it to the affected area and bandage it. Glauber's salt is easy to absorb water and melt when heated, and the patient has a sense of coolness or peristalsis locally. 8 ~ 1 hour replacement 1 time. Glauber's salt will harden after a long time, and timely replacement can avoid scratches and skin irritation.
9. Corneal cloud: take 50g of mirabilite, add 500ml of white vinegar to the same crock, soak it, stir it and dry it with slow fire. Grinding the mortar into powder, sieving with 200 mesh sieve, and sealing the bottle for later use. When in use, sprinkle a little into conjunctival sac, 2 ~ 3 times a day, and the 20th day is 1. This medicine is suitable for pannus caused by various diseases, but conjunctival congestion and corneal inflammation are contraindicated. 10. Toxic enteroparalysis: Toxic enteroparalysis is one of the most common complications of severe pediatric infection. The effect of mirabilite hot compress on abdomen is satisfactory. While actively taking rescue measures such as anti-infection, improving circulation and correcting electrolyte disturbance, mirabilite 100 ~ 200 g was put into a square cloth bag with the size of 12cm. Then put a hot water bag on the cloth bag and cover it with a quilt. Hot compress is about 0.5 ~ 1h, mirabilite is dissolved by heat, and the bag is wet, so that the hot water bag can be taken out. The duration of external application depends on the disappearance of abdominal distension. Generally, abdominal distension is relieved after 2 hours of external application and disappears after 3-4 hours.

Prostatic hyperplasia complicated with acute urinary retention: Take 20 ~ 40g of mirabilite, put it in a cloth bag or wrap it with gauze and apply it to the navel, and then put a hot water bag on the cloth bag for hot compress. When the dosage is large, the liquid medicine may extravasate, and it can be applied to 1 ~ after urination every day.
12. acute soft tissue injury: take 20g of mirabilite, add it into 100 ml of hot water at 25-40℃, fully dissolve it to make 20% solution, and wet compress or soak the affected area, 3 times a day, 30 minutes a time. When in use, keep the gauze moist to maintain the drug action time.
13. Postpartum weaning: Wrap 200g Sodium Sulfate in gauze and apply it to both breasts, and change it every 24 hours. Generally, within 2 to 5 days, the milk will be absorbed and the breast swelling will subside.
14. phlebitis: add 100g mirabilite into 500ml distilled water and autoclave the solution. After symptoms appear 12h, apply gauze to the affected area, which exceeds the swelling range 1cm, and keep the gauze moist for 30 min ~ 1h each time, 1 ~ 2 times a day. Both cold and hot wet compress can significantly improve local symptoms, but the higher the solubility at the same temperature, the better the effect.
15. Rash: Take mirabilite 100 ~ 200 g, dissolve it in hot water, and put it in the bath, with the amount of water 10 ~ 20L, and the water temperature should not be too hot. Rinse the skin, once a day 1 time, once 10min, usually three times to cure. No side effects on skin.
16. Abdominal distension caused by severe pancreatitis: On the basis of fasting, gastrointestinal decompression, maintaining water-electrolyte balance, and rational application of antibiotics, antispasmodic analgesics and trypsin inhibitors, 500g of mirabilite was put into a gauze bag of 20cm×30cm, and a thin layer of cotton was placed on the patient's upper abdomen, and it was changed 1 time within 8 hours.
17. Inflammatory mass of abdominal wall: external use of mirabilite to treat inflammatory induration of abdominal wall incision after cesarean section, plus antibiotic treatment, has a good effect.
18. Constipation: put 10~30g ~ 30g mirabilite into an enema tube, add 500ml warm water to dissolve it, and perform routine enema.
