Road to Tiger Hill

According to legend, in the Spring and Autumn Period 2,400 years ago, He Lv, the king of Wu, was accidentally injured and died soon. A few days after his death, his son buried him in Tiger Hill. It is said that a white tiger squatted on the mountain three days after his burial, so he renamed "Haiyong Mountain" Tiger Hill.

Duanliangdian

The so-called broken beam means that a beam is broken, so let's take a closer look at the main beam of the temple gate. It is not made of a whole piece of wood, but two sections with obvious flat seams in the middle. There is a legend here that Emperor Qianlong ordered the construction of Tiger Hill Temple during his southern tour, and time was tight. When he was preparing to beam, he found that the big wood, which was originally intended to be a girder, had been sawn into two sections as the top beam. As the deadline approached, it was impossible to find any more wood, so the old carpenter Seruban got the artist's advice and finally completed the structure as scheduled. Emperor Qianlong was very happy.

Hanhanquan

According to legend, Master Han Han, a monk in the Liang Dynasty, was a water bearer in the temple. He has suffered from eye diseases since he was a child, but he has good ears and a good mind. Once he carried water through here and fell on the moss. He wondered if there was a spring under this place, so he dug up the ground to find it. When the villagers saw him fooling around, they all laughed at him and joked, "If I can dig out the spring water, I will become a big frog." A clear spring gushed from the ground and sprayed on the face of Master Han Han. Suddenly, he felt cool and his eyes saw the light again. At this time, Master Han Han found that the farmer really turned into a frog and stayed by the ancient well for a long time.

Sword force test stone

In order to compete for the world, He Lv, the king of Wu, seized the most famous couple who cast swords at that time and asked them to cast a sword of chinese odyssey within 100 days. The king's life is very difficult. The couple came to Suzhou to smell incense day and night, and now it runs through the east-west avenue of the ancient city of Suzhou, so it is called Ganjiang Road to commemorate them. But after three months, it is still not as pure as fire. At the critical moment, Mo Xie jumped into the furnace, turned into a wisp of smoke, and finally cast a pair of male and female swords, namely Lieutenant and Mo Xie. The lieutenant arrived at Haiyong Mountain as scheduled and presented the female sword Mo Xie to the prince. The king of Wu waved his sword and tried to cut the stone next to him in half. This is the boulder you saw. However, the king of Wu is a violent monarch. When he was trying to kill the lieutenant with a sword to ensure that the sword was chinese odyssey, the lieutenant was ready and pulled out the male sword. The sword suddenly turned into a dragon, and the lieutenant rode the dragon into the sky and became a sword god.

Pillow stone

It is said that Tang Bohu, a gifted scholar in Suzhou, took Chou-heung to Tiger Hill. She was tired, so she rested on a big stone and fell asleep unconsciously. Fortunately, another Suzhou genius, Zhu Zhishan, also came to Tiger Hill on this day. When he happened to see Tang Bohu like this, he woke him up, made fun of him and wrote the word "pillow stone" on a stone. Tang Zhu thought of the pillow from the pillow stone, and the pillow thought of the couple sleeping on the pillow together, which was linked to having children, so he threw a small stone at the pillow stone. If the small stone falls, it will have a daughter. If the small stone stays on the pillow, it will have a child. As a result, Zhu Zhishan threw it out first, and the stone rolled down. Later, Mrs. Zhu really gave birth to a daughter, and later threw it away, and the stone was still there. Mrs. Tang really gave birth to a fat man. The affair between these two talented people soon spread, and good people and even ordinary people followed suit.

Sunwuting

When Sun arrived in Wu, he was introduced by Wu Zixu and met He Lv, the king of Wu. He Lv was very happy to read The Art of War. He was ordered to try the art of war in the harem. Sun Wu divided the ladies-in-waiting into two teams, and practiced on the Thousand Stones, with He Lv's two favorite girls as captains. But the ladies-in-waiting regarded training as a game, and Sun Wu reiterated military discipline. In the second drill, the ladies-in-waiting still went their own way, especially the two captains, talking and laughing. Sun Wu ordered Marshal to behead two captains immediately. When the prince of Wu saw that Sun Wu was going to behead his two favorite concubines, he quickly sent someone to stop him, but Sun Wu showed no mercy. He said, "Since I have been ordered to be a general, I must act according to the military law, otherwise it would be a dereliction of duty to the king. After that, he immediately sent someone to behead the two favorite concubines. Sun Wu continued to practice, and the ladies-in-waiting quickly stood in a row with serious expressions and accurate movements. After reading it, the prince nodded and said yes, and the idiom "three orders and five applications" came from this classic.

Qianrenshi

There are two legends about the Thousand-Man Stone. One is that Fu Cha, the king of Wu, buried 3,000 swords and many other treasures in the underground palace. In order to keep a secret, Fu Cha killed thousands of craftsmen who built tombs on stones. Therefore, the second legend of "Thousand Stones" is a modern high-ranking monk, Zhu Daosheng, who is known as the man who gave birth to the public and is full of knowledge and understanding, but his advanced views were not accepted by the abbot of the temple at that time.

Give a speech on public affairs

Gong Sheng was a famous monk Zhu Daosheng in Jin Dynasty in China. At that time, it mainly expounded the Nirvana Sutra, preaching that "the sea of suffering is endless and turning back to the shore, putting down the butcher's knife and becoming a Buddha" and "all beings feel Buddha's nature". However, because of outdated knowledge, he was rejected by northern literati and expelled from the capital, so he traveled around to Tiger Hill and gave lectures here. At that time, there were many people listening to his lectures, and there were about 1000 people sitting around. So we can see that there are three blue words "Thousands of people sit" next to these four green words. These four green words were written by Hu Maozong in the Ming Dynasty, but his views were also excluded by southern literati, so he drove all these listeners away and stopped listening to the scriptures, but Gong Sheng was not discouraged. He sat on a stone and spoke to the scriptures left by the listener for three days and nights, and his mouth was thirsty. One of the stones suddenly nodded slightly at him, which seemed to indicate that I understood. This stone is the nodding stone we saw in the swimming pool. At that time, it happened to be a severe winter, but the Bai Lianhua in the pool was competing to open, and the water in the pool was full. Therefore, there are some sayings, such as "born with water, born with empty water", "born with public opinion, nodded with a stubborn stone, and bloom with white lotus".

Erxian pavilion

There are two stone tablets in the pavilion with two immortals engraved on them, one is Chen Tuan and the other is Lv Dongbin. Legend has it that one day two immortals were playing chess here. A woodcutter saw it and came to watch them play chess. After watching a game of chess, he went home, but everyone knew him. Later, people guessed from his clothes that he was thousands of years ago. Therefore, there is a saying that "the gods played a thousand-year chess game." It shows that our Tiger Hill is the place where immortals live. There are two couplets in the pavilion. One is: "In the dream, it is said that a dream is not a dream, and one yuan is one yuan. The first part tells the story of Chen Tuan. According to legend, Chen Tuan slept for many years and woke up to meet a woodcutter. The woodcutter told him that it had been several generations, but Chen Tuan didn't believe him and took the woodcutter as a dream figure. The second couplet is Taoism's Tao, and the yuan is metaphysics, that is, Tao. Mysterious and mysterious, from the wonderful door. Tao gives birth to one, two, three, and everything, and then returns to Tao, studies the theory of Tao, and obtains Tao. Another couplet reads: "Yueyang once had traces to follow; Today, Tiger Hill stayed "means that Lv Dongbin once appeared in Yueyang Tower and later came to Tiger Hill.

Shen z Ziyi

The word "sword pool" on the cliff is said to have been written by Wang Xizhi, a famous calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Wang Xizhi likes raising geese and often observes their dynamic expressions. Some of his strokes were inspired by the bending of the goose's neck. There is also a myth about the word "sword pool". One day, Wang Xizhi visited Tiger Hill and saw two geese in the pond, one black and one white, and he liked them very much. At this time, a mountain monk said to him, as long as you write down the word "sword pool" for me, I will give them to you. Wang Xizhi was so happy that he took a pen and wrote these two words here. When he was about to take the goose home, he suddenly asked that the monk had disappeared and two geese were squatting on the top of the mountain, but the word "sword pool" was engraved on this cliff forever. This is the legend of "God Goose Changing Words".

Xiandong

The Spring and Autumn Period was called "Goujian Cave". This idiom comes from this place. According to the records of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, after Fu Cha, the king of Wu, was defeated, Gou Jian, the king of Yue, was forced to come to Wu as a hostage. Fu Cha ordered Wang Sunxiong to build a stone house next to He Lv's tomb to let Gou Jian and his wife live and raise horses for him. According to legend, this cave is the place where Goujian and his wife live, hence the name "Goujian Cave". Why is it called "Fairy Cave"? According to legend, in the Jin Dynasty, an old man selling oranges accidentally walked into this cave and saw two big immortals playing chess here, so it was called "Fairy Cave". On the other hand, this cave is connected with Mount Emei in Sichuan, and it only takes one day to go back and forth. Later, local flower farmers discovered that the secret was leaked and the cave was blocked.

Meng Ying Guanyin

During the heyday of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Zangkui Zangning brothers in Huzhou served their parents for ten years. Zangkui suffered from overwork and financial difficulties. He recited the name of avalokitesvara in fasting, and dreamed that a white man pricked his ear at night, and his illness immediately recovered. Zangkui is good at painting and Zangning is good at carving. The two of them made a wish to carve a statue of Guanyin, but they didn't know what it looked like. One day, Zangkui dreamed of a white fairy, and after waking up, he quickly recalled it. The scholar in the painting is handsome, amiable, handsome and solemn, which makes people respect him. When people saw it, they all called it good, saying that they would dream of Guanyin, which was a much-told story. Zangkui went from Huzhou to Suzhou to collect public sacrifice statues, which lasted for ten years. After people knew his filial piety, they donated money in succession. He also found the beautiful stone face of Taihu Lake in the west hill of Dongting. The sound of jade and gold is extraordinary. Zangning carved it by heart according to the picture. When he encounters difficulties in details, he will also dream at night, if he is given anything. After ten years of careful carving, this stone Guanyin is lifelike. The Guanyin statues of Yingmeng and Zangning carved by Zangkui shocked the ruling and opposition parties and Buddhism. In the sixth year of Xining, officials, Buddhists and people from all walks of life built the Stone guanyin temple in the south of Sanquan, a famous Buddhist mountain. In September of the following year, the stone Guanyin Temple was completed. On the opening day, the crowds were surging. What is extremely precious is that there are 92 people, from the prime minister and ministers down to the magistrate, the magistrate, or the doctor, Hu, and Shen Kuo (writing "Bi Tan"), each of whom wrote a line of "Pu Men Pin" and "The Stone Wall with the title of the scribe and happiness". The history is called "Xining Jingke", which was clearly marked in the "Tiger Hill Front Mountain Map" during the Qianlong period. Shi Ziying, the tenth generation Zen master of Huqiu, was able to write poems, read widely and be versatile. Professor Zhu of Suzhou University called it "profound and subtle". Zi carved the four characters "Buddha and Buddha" on the side stone of Xining Classic. Qian Daxin said: "The interpretation of Tiger Hill and Chinese characters is absolutely different. "More than 800 years later, in 15 of the Republic of China, Li Genyuan visited the Tiger Hill and praised the word" Sakyamuni Buddha ",which was the same size as the word" Tiger Hill Sword Pool "and was more powerful than the word" Tiger Hill Sword Pool ". In the Ming Dynasty's "Tiger Hill", Chang Yuchun defeated Zhang Shicheng who was entrenched in Tiger Hill at the end of the Yuan Dynasty. " In the temple, he used a portrait of Meng Ying Guanyin and a bronze incense burner to worship it, but the king didn't accept it. My people take pictures. Later, it was obtained by Changzhou Fan. At first, I didn't know it belonged to Tiger Hill, but my mother dreamed that a woman said, "Take me back." My mother asked, "Where else can I go?" A: "Tiger Hill. Mother saw the words "Tiger Hill" on the painting and told her to send it back to Tiger Hill. The painting boat was stolen by thieves when it passed through the lake. Later, someone bought this painting, and when she slept, she dreamed that the woman said, "My home is in Tiger Hill, please take me home. The man also sent the painting back to Tiger Hill.

Tiger hill, your third spring.

According to legend, there is a Shangbang village near Taihu Lake. During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, nations disputed and tortured the people. Everyone was afraid of the local emperor and was forced to go to war. Unexpectedly, one day, the village on the list was suddenly covered with dark clouds and thunderstorms in broad daylight, only to hear a loud noise and a pagoda fell from the sky. The locals don't know if this is a blessing or a curse. At this time, a man who wanted to be an emperor took the opportunity to say, "Happy event, the dragon land of Baota town, where the emperor came out." When people heard this, they were very angry. Men, women and children began to smash the tower, and even the tower was smashed. This pagoda is actually in the air. It happened that the Monkey King returned to Guo Hua after a big fight in the Heavenly Palace. When he saw a pagoda floating in the air, he took it back to Guo Hua with a gold hoop. But when he swam to the northwest of Suzhou and saw the scenery of Tiger Hill, he couldn't help dancing. The pagoda fell to the ground and landed on the top of the mountain. Unfortunately, no. The leftover half of Xiantao also fell halfway up the mountain and became half a stone peach. With a pot of wine under his arm, he broke a "Tiehuayan" on the mountain. This rock spring looks like a bottle, and the water quality of the three springs is sweet. Its name comes from the appreciation of Liu Yu in the Tang Dynasty. Liu Bochu, a scholar in the Tang Dynasty, was also a master of water quality. I tasted the good water in the country and was rated as the top seven. The spring of Zhenjiang Yangtze River Jinshan was the first. During Zheng De's reign in Ming Dynasty, the Changzhou magistrate attached great importance to Jing Quan, and Wang Chang, a great scholar, wrote that the third spring of Tiger Hill originated from the taste of Lu Hung-chien.
