If you use it frugally, you can't make it rich.

If you improve and move a little, then God can't make it all. God can't make things auspicious in a fake way. So we were hungry before the flood and drought, sick before the cold and summer, and fierce before the monster was born. It is the same as managing the world, but it is different from managing the world. You can't blame the sky, but it's also true. Therefore, if you know the difference between heaven and man, you can be said to be the most human.

The husband's duty is to get what he wants without asking. The sage knows his heavenly monarch, is his celestial official, prepares his heavenly supplement, follows his heavenly politics, nurtures his heavenly feelings, and makes the best of his heavenly strength. If so, you know what you do and what you don't do, then heaven and earth are the officials and everything is the service. If you follow the right path of propriety and righteousness without making any mistakes, then God can't bring disaster to people, so floods and droughts can't make people hungry, cold and hot changes can't make people sick, and natural disasters can't make people dangerous. Give up agricultural production and extravagant consumption, then the sky can't make people rich.

If the maintenance is simple and the action is against time, the sky will be lost. If you run amok and violate the right path of propriety and righteousness, then heaven can't make people lucky. So there was famine before the flood and drought, disease before the cold and heat, and disaster before the natural disaster. These accepted times are exactly the same as governing the world, but disasters are different from governing the world. This can't be blamed, it's the law of things. Therefore, knowing the difference between the duties of heaven and man is the most human.

You don't have to do it deliberately to succeed, and you don't have to ask for it deliberately. This is called "duty". Like this, although profound, "knowing benevolence" will not deliberately think about it; Although great, "Zhiren" will not deliberately work hard; Although subtle, "knowing benevolence" will not be deliberately pursued, which is called competing with heaven.

The right time, the right place and the right people. This is called participation and cooperation with heaven and earth. It is wrong to give up your ability of cooperation and participation and envy the role of time and land.

Many stars turn to each other, the sun and the moon alternate, spring, summer, autumn and winter alternate, yin and yang combine, and everything is widely used. Everything grows in harmony with these things and is nourished and matured by them. You can't see what he is doing but only the result. This is called "God". Everyone knows that they have achieved everything, but they don't know that they are invisible. This is called "Tiangong". Only saints do not deliberately seek to understand heaven.

After the establishment of "Duty", "Tianli" has been completed, and people's spirit has emerged. Emotions such as kindness, evil, joy, anger, sadness and joy are all included in it, which is called "heavenly feeling". Ear, eye, nose, mouth and shape have their sympathetic external functions and cannot replace each other. This is called "Tianguan". The mind dominates the five senses (ears, eyes, nose, mouth and shape) in the chest, which is called "Tianjun".

Choosing other things to support human beings is called "natural support". Conforming to people's needs is called blessing, and violating people's needs is called disaster. This is called "Heaven Politics". Covering up the heavenly monarch, confusing the heavenly officials, abandoning the heavenly nourishment, violating the heavenly principles and the heavenly feelings, and losing the heavenly rights, is called the great murder.

The sage knows his heavenly monarch, adjusts his heavenly officials, prepares for his heavenly cultivation, follows his heavenly politics, and protects his heavenly feelings, thus preserving his heavenly merits. In this way, saints will know what they should and should not do; You can do your duty between heaven and earth and serve everything. The saint's behavior is completely reasonable, his health is completely comfortable, and his existence will not hurt everything. This is called knowing heaven.

Therefore, a really smart person has something to do with him; The real wise man lies in his thoughtlessness. The sage's concern for heaven is limited to showing predictable phenomena; Concern for land is limited to showing soil suitable for growth; Attention to the four seasons is limited to the order in which they can engage in labor; Attention to yin and yang is limited to manageable methods and conditions. Saints will appoint experts to guard heaven and human nature itself.

Is it heaven or chaos? I said, "The sun, the moon, the stars, the morning, auspicious signs and the calendar are all faced by Dayu and Xia Jie. God will not cooperate with people who hate the cold to stop the arrival of winter, and the earth will not cooperate with people who hate the distance to change its breadth. A gentleman will not stop his moral cultivation because a villain is noisy. There is a constant way in heaven and a constant way in earth. A gentleman has an agreement, a gentleman emphasizes an agreement, and a villain only cares about utility.

The Book of Songs says, "We practice propriety and righteousness without making mistakes. Why should we be afraid of others gossiping?" This is a fact. There are thousands of troops behind the king of Chu, not how smart he is; It's not how stupid a gentleman is to eat beans and drink water, it's all caused by accident.

As for my ambition to cultivate beauty and purity, my virtue is profound and honest. I was born in the contemporary era and I am interested in ancient roads. That's (completely) in my hand! Therefore, a gentleman will be eager to (seriously do) those things in my hands, rather than covet those things that belong to heaven; Little people will give up what belongs to me and long for what belongs to heaven.

A gentleman will be eager (seriously) to do things that belong to me, not greedy for things that belong to heaven, so he is making progress every day; Little people give up those things related to me, but covet those things that belong to heaven (blindly), so they are regressing every day. Therefore, the reason why a gentleman makes progress every day is the same as the reason why a villain regresses every day. This is why there is such a big difference between a gentleman and a villain.

The falling of meteors and the strange sounds of trees made people in China very afraid. Ask: "What's the matter?" I said, "Nothing. This is just the change of heaven and earth, the change of yin and yang, and the phenomenon that things are rare is precious! Feel strange, yes; It is wrong to be afraid. The sun and the moon are in deficit, the wind and rain are out of place, and there are occasional strange stars, which have never appeared in that generation!

If the superiors are wise and the politics are clear, then even if they rise at the same time, there is no harm; Superior, dark and politically dangerous, even if no one is there, it will not help. Feel strange, yes; It is wrong to be afraid. "Of all the things that have happened, only people are the most terrible. Hasty farming will hurt crops, and careless weeding will lose crops.

Political risks will lose people's hearts, fields will be barren, crops will wither, food prices will be expensive, people will starve to death, and people will starve to death on the road. This is called "human suffering". Unclear government orders, improper action measures, poor farming management, and people not coming according to the season, resulting in cattle and horses crossing and six animals perverting. This is called "human abuse". It is difficult to leave at the same time because of poor etiquette and righteousness, no distinction between inside and outside, promiscuity between men and women, mutual suspicion between father and son. People are born because of chaos. If the above three kinds of people appear alternately, the country will have no peace. Those who govern the people, respect the ritual system, and respect the sages can rule the world with the king; Only by attaching importance to the rule of law and caring for the people can you lead and be a leader. It is dangerous to covet personal gain and use fraudulent means more. If you try to use political power to harm or overthrow others, if you are insidious, you will be completely destroyed.

Instead of blindly looking up at the sky and breathing, how can we control it as one thing? Instead of blindly obeying and praising heaven, how can it be compared with mastering its laws and using them? Instead of waiting for a bumper harvest just because the weather is right, how can it be used to meet the seasonal changes? Instead of blindly letting things grow naturally and expecting them to increase, how can it be compared with giving full play to human intelligence to help them reproduce?

Instead of blindly thinking that natural materials will become useful things, how can it be compared with developing materials without burying them? Instead of blindly hoping to understand how everything came into being, how can it be compared with helping everything and making everything grow? Therefore, it is against the principle of everything to give up man-made efforts and hope in heaven.
