Half an hour after breakfast

Don't rush to exercise, so as not to cause indigestion.

Massage the knee joint by hand can make the stomach meridian unobstructed, and in the cold winter, it can also drive away the cold and protect the joint. This is a good way to keep healthy.

Half an hour after lunch

Half an hour after lunch is a critical moment to adjust your physical and mental state. As the saying goes, "If you don't sleep at noon, you will collapse in the afternoon." Studies have shown that a mid-afternoon nap can relieve stress and improve memory. Even if it only takes ten minutes, the effect is immediate.

Even if you don't have the conditions to sleep, you'd better stretch your limbs, take a few deep breaths and relax your tight body.

Half an hour after dinner

Don't exercise in a hurry and don't wash your feet. Doing so will increase body surface blood flow and reduce gastrointestinal blood flow, thus weakening the digestive function of the stomach.

During this time, you might as well do some housework, such as washing dishes or tidying your room, so that you can exercise without burdening your digestive system.

Don't do five things after dinner.

Eat fruit after meals.

After food enters the stomach, it needs to be digested 1~2 hours. If you eat fruit immediately after a meal, it will be blocked by the food you ate before, which will lead to the fruit not being digested normally and easy to form flatulence. Because fruit contains a lot of monosaccharides, it is easily absorbed by the small intestine. If it is blocked in the stomach, it will form flatulence and lead to constipation. It is best to eat fruit between meals, especially for people with elevated blood sugar. Eating fruit immediately after meals is not recommended.

Exercise immediately after meals.

Less than half an hour after dinner, my stomach was full of food. At this time, participating in sports (even walking) will make the stomach suffer from "bumps", affect the digestive function, and even cause stomach problems in the long run. Therefore, it is best to sit still for half an hour after dinner, and then go out for a walk and other light activities.

Drink strong tea after meals.

Drinking tea immediately after meals will dilute gastric juice and affect food digestion. At the same time, tannic acid in tea can turn protein in food into indigestible solidified substance, which increases the burden on the stomach and affects the absorption of protein. Tea contains a large amount of tannic acid, which combines with iron in food and prevents iron absorption in intestine.

Go to bed immediately after supper.

Some office workers often feel sleepy after going home for dinner. Tired from work during the day, they will take a nap. Sleeping after a full meal will increase the burden on the stomach, make food accumulate in the body and cause obesity.

Take a bath immediately after meals.

After bathing, the blood flow on the body surface will increase, and the blood flow in the gastrointestinal tract will decrease accordingly, thus weakening the digestive function of the gastrointestinal tract and causing indigestion. Scientifically speaking, if you are hungry, don't wash your hands before meals, which will easily lead to hypoxia and temporary anemia. It is not advisable to wash immediately after meals, but it is better to wash for more than an hour after meals. Taking a bath before going to bed will relieve the fatigue of the day and make you fall asleep easily.

Keep healthy after meals.

Take a break for fifteen minutes after dinner, listen to some light music and drink some tea, but not too much. This helps to prolong life and digest food.

After half an hour, rinse your mouth or brush your teeth with a mouthful of milk to keep the milk on your teeth and help them absorb calcium. Only by protecting your teeth can you be healthier.

That's walking, not just walking. In the process of walking, we should adjust our breathing as rhythmically and smoothly as possible, so that we can digest and absorb more in our stomach.
