Traditional Chinese medicine takes local pain or sensitive reaction points as acupoints for acupuncture treatment.
A kind of acupuncture points with pain local or pain reaction point (acid, numbness, swelling, pain, weight or spot, color change, sclerosis, swelling and other reactions) as acupuncture points. The meaning of Ashi point developed from Neijing, but the name Ashi point first appeared in Fang Yao. They have neither a specific name (all acupoints are called Ashi points) nor a fixed location (all acupoints are called Ashi points no matter where they are located), and their indications are not very clear (depending on the illness, not on the illness), but they are effective (and often miraculous) in treating diseases. Clinically, doctors temporarily identify patients according to the feeling of acid, numbness, swelling, pain and heavy skin changes during pressing.
Ashi point can appear anywhere in the whole body, which is a temporary acupoint phenomenon. When a disease occurs, a certain part of the human body will be blocked by qi and blood, leading to local and temporary accumulation of qi and blood, resulting in the phenomenon of "Ashi point". When the disease is relieved, the temporary accumulation of qi and blood is also relieved, and the phenomenon of Ashi point disappears. It can be seen that Ashi point is not a fixed and specific point. Ashi point and "taking pain as loss" have different meanings. "Pain to lose" comes from the chapter of Lingshu Jin Jing: "Pain to lose, burning needles to grab thorns." Mainly aimed at acupoint selection and acupuncture methods for meridian diseases. The lesion is located in the meridians and tendons, and the main clinical manifestation is pain. Ashi point is determined by a variety of comprehensive senses such as "fast" and "pain". In Neijing, the different feelings of acupoints are mentioned many times. For example, "Ling Shu Wu Xie" said: "The evil lies in the lungs ... take it from Chinese and foreign acupoints, carry it on the back of three sections and five zang-zang, and press it with your hands. Although fast and fast, it is a thorn. " Su Wen's theory of acupuncture for low back pain says: "Follow it as a thorn." Su Wen's Theory of Ancient Space said: "Cutting is difficult and painful, like moxibustion as a tendon." These are the phenomena of Ashi points, belonging to Ashi points. The connotation of Ashi point is far richer than "taking pain as loss", so Ashi point should not be replaced by "taking pain as loss".
