Koi fish is a kind of colorful carp, colorful and changeable, with high ornamental value, but expensive. Last June, 5438+ 10, Sanhe ornamental fish farm introduced more than 50 kinds of koi fish from abroad as aquaculture fish. At present, these precious koi fish have basically adapted to the new environment under the careful breeding of breeders. At the end of last year, in the 4th China Ornamental Fish Competition, two fish farmers in this farm, koi fish, won two individual championships with a market price of 200,000 yuan. "At the beginning, foreign investors who provided fish farming once bought these two koi fish at a unit price of 300,000 yuan. We are reluctant to sell and want them to continue to raise fish. "

According to the reporter's understanding, by the end of this year, a small number of koi fish farms can be listed. By then, some large enterprises, hotels and powerful private entrepreneurs in Ningbo will be loyal "customers" of koi fish. "Next year, customers from all over the country will come here." For a long time, our city has been mainly engaged in edible fish farming, but the development of ornamental fish farming is relatively backward-80% of the ornamental fish supplied in the local market come from Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou and other places. But in the past two years, a number of ornamental fish breeding bases and large operators have emerged in Ningbo. According to the reporter's understanding, there are currently 4 professional markets for ornamental fish and 55 retail outlets for ornamental fish in the three districts. Among the numerous business varieties, the annual sales volume of goldfish alone is about 2 million, and the sales amount exceeds 6,543,800 yuan. As the largest ornamental fish breeding base in the city, Yinzhou District can breed10 million kinds of ornamental fish.
