The medical books unearthed from Mawangdui No.3 Han Tomb include Fifty-two Prescriptions for Diseases, Prescriptions for Health Preservation, Miscellaneous Prescriptions, Guide Map, Prescriptions for Fetal Birth, Que Gu Shi Qi, Pulse Method, Foot-arm Eleven-pulse Moxibustion, and Yin Yang Moxibustion (there are two books). These medical books have both prescriptions of medical experience and expositions from practical experience to theory. These excavations are of great value to the study of Chinese medical history, especially providing meaningful first-hand materials for evaluating and commenting on traditional Chinese medicine in the pre-Qin period. Here, we can only make some simple introductions with examples.
