Bupleurum chinense and Scutellaria baicalensis in Xiaochaihu decoction have the effects of clearing away heat and harmonizing the stomach, and can control the heartburn in the stomach. Generally speaking, patients with heartburn often have bile reflux. Chaiping Decoction can control bile reflux, which may be related to the satisfaction of patients' curative effect.
