Can hawthorn and apples be stewed for babies every day or every other day to prevent food accumulation?
My answer is "no"
Although hawthorn can help digestion and relieve boredom, I will also arrange hawthorn tremella soup to help digestion when the baby with weak spleen and stomach or food accumulation is recuperating. But I don't recommend stewing the baby every day or every other day to prevent the baby from accumulating food.
This is not recommended for three reasons:
First, the key to prevent food accumulation is not hawthorn, but to control the quantity. Only by diversifying the food in each meal and tasting the processed snacks can the baby avoid eating too much single food and causing food accumulation.
Secondly, the content of fruit acid in hawthorn is very high, and most hawthorn apple water can only be accepted by sweetened babies. Drinking it every day or every other day means that the baby will get a lot of refined sugar through hawthorn and apple water, which will not only increase the incidence of dental caries, but also affect the brain development and the baby's future learning ability and memory.
Third, even if the baby can accept unsweetened hawthorn apple water, if it is used instead of boiled water every day, on the one hand, it will make the baby accept tasteless boiled water more and more, which will affect the development of taste nerves; On the other hand, excessive intake of hawthorn fruit acid will not only damage enamel, but also affect the absorption of calcium.
Therefore, don't blindly give it to your baby every day just by looking at the therapeutic effect of hawthorn and apple water. Wrong feeding will cause many problems, and even some health problems are irreversible.
