Shanghai Hu Song Bus Line is a bus line operated by Shanghai No.2 Bus Company.

Shanghai bus mainly refers to the urban road bus serving the central city of Shanghai. The first line was opened on March 5th, 1908.

The development of history

From the opening of 1843 Shanghai, a concession was established outside the city. At that time, the main means of transportation in the city were unicycles and rickshaws, and only the extremely rich used carriages.

In the first month of the 30th year of Guangxu (1904), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Shanghai Public Concession invited tenders to start the tram business, and then British businessman Bruce Pipol won the bid.

In the 31st year of Guangxu (1905), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology signed an exclusive contract with Bruce Pipol.
