The pigsty should be cleaned twice a day and rinsed once. Because pig manure itself is a heat source substance in summer, it should be thoroughly cleaned. The summer climate is sultry, so the doors and windows of the pigsty should be completely opened to facilitate the ventilation and heat dissipation of pigs. Conditional scale farmers can add ventilation facilities, which is more conducive to the heatstroke prevention and cooling of pigs.

2, cold water spray cooling

For the piggery with brick-concrete structure and cement floor, under the premise of cleanliness and hygiene, the sanitary wall (1 m high) and the ground of the piggery are washed with cold water every day at noon1and at 5 pm, and the pigs weighing over 75kg are sprayed with cold water to cool down, so as to help the fat pigs spend the summer safely.

3, the weather is hot in summer, simply feeding some vegetables to pigs can play an unexpected heatstroke prevention effect. Vegetable types and feeding amount:

(1) White lentils. White lentils have the effect of relieving summer heat and strengthening stomach. According to the weight of the pig, 30 to 50 grams can be used for frying juice and drinking soup.

(2) mung bean soup. Take appropriate amount of mung beans, add appropriate amount of water, and cook until the skin is rotten. After cooling, let pigs drink soup and eat beans, which has a good heatstroke prevention and summer heat relief effect.

(3) Watermelon skin. Mash 2000g fresh watermelon peel, add100g sugar and mix well. Heatstroke pig 1 twice a day, and recover after taking it.
