Characteristics and functions of litchi

Litchi is also known as "Danli", "Litchi", "Litchi", "Huoshan", "Litchi" and "Litchi". Where does litchi grow?

Litchi originated in China, widely distributed in China, and also planted in the south, southwest and southeast. At present, it is mainly cultivated in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Hainan, Sichuan, Taiwan Province and southern Fujian.

Litchi growing environment

Litchi trees are suitable for growing in high temperature, high humidity and abundant sunshine. They need a relatively low temperature during flower bud differentiation, but when the temperature is -2 degrees to -4 degrees, they will suffer from freezing injury.

Litchi flowering weather is sunny and warm but not dry, so the humidity should not be too low during pollination, and it is not suitable for pollination when it rains continuously.

Vegetation process

Litchi is mainly vegetative growth in seedling stage, and will gradually turn to reproductive growth in adulthood. Entering the flower and fruit period is mainly the vegetative growth of new shoots and crown. After the high-yield fruiting period, it will enter the aging period, the growth ability of root cap and root system will be weakened, and the whole will begin to shrink naturally.
