Datian Daxianfeng Nature Reserve is located in Xushan Village, Pingshan Township, Datian County, with a total area of 6,893 hectares. Among them, the core area 1848 hectares. The main protected objects in this area are national first-and second-class key protected animals and plants. Daxian Peak has two peaks: the main peak and the secondary peak. The main peak is1553.4m above sea level, soaring into the sky, making it the highest peak in Datian County. There is a primitive Song Dynasty sacred rock temple on the mountainside. The temple covers an area of more than 2,000 square meters, including upper and lower Buddhist temples, 17 Buddhist temples and more than 70 temples. Covering an area of 2000 square meters, it can accommodate more than 1000 people. The temple was destroyed by flash floods on 1959, but the old site was left behind. At the beginning of 2003, Daejeon Daxianfeng was listed as a provincial nature reserve.
