Boss, have a drink, too. There is a place called Toutang in Sanxiang (now Sanjiao Town, Meijiang District), which faces Qincaiyang (now Jinshan Qin Huang Village, Meijiang District) across the river. There was no bridge here before, and boatmen set up wooden boats and crossed the simple docks on both sides of the strait. Every moonlit night, tourists cross the river by boat, and ferrymen paddle, which makes the water sparkling, arousing tourists' interest and refreshing.

Yihua giant clock

Righteousness, two also. The hinterland of Meicheng center, at the foot of Jinshan Mountain, has always been the important place of the government and yamen, and it is the first of righteousness. The entrance building of government agencies stands tall, with a bell tower at the top and a big clock that can be watched from all sides. When people get there, they will look up at the time to announce the dawn. This scenic spot exists in name only, but the clock is no longer the clock of that year, and the bell tower has been built. Now the bell tower is the office building of Meijiang District Committee and Government.

Sanjiao town

Four miles south of Meicheng is called "Triangle Land" (now Sanjiao Town, Meijiang District). It used to be a market town, with many shops, prosperous business and thousands of merchants, which was very lively, second only to Meicheng. Sanjiao Town is backed by Huangshazhang, facing Meijiang River and surrounded by mountains and waters, and is known as Meinan Scenic Area. There are many ponds under the jurisdiction of the town, especially "Xintang" (formerly known as Xinyantang), with a perimeter of 1 150 feet (about 3,830 meters) and an area of 360 mu. It was the largest farm in Meizhou that year, rich in fish and shrimp. Later, it was converted into "Sword Shadow Park", and most of it was cut off, and pavilions were built, which became a grand view. By the end of 20 12, Meizhou Revolutionary History Memorial Hall and Meijiang Revolutionary Martyrs Monument have been built beside the pond, which are in harmony with the lake and are good places for visiting, sightseeing and paying tribute to the martyrs. This scenic spot still exists, and the triangle town has been integrated with Meicheng.

In front of Sibu Bridge

There is a "four-barge bridge" near Zhonghewei in Shixian District. Although the bridge is not wide, it is the main road for Shi Xian to go to the county seat. When traveling, you can visit "Lieutenant General Reservoir" (named after Xiao) and "Jingyi Dwelling House" (193 1 the beautiful residence built by Mr. Peng Jingyi, then the magistrate of Meixian County) to learn about the cultural background of Fan Shi. This scenic spot still exists now.

Wuliting

Meicheng (now Chengbei Town, Meijiang District) is a market in Wuhuali North. In the old days, officials came to Jiaying House by sedan chair or horseback riding for the purpose of official or inspection, and arrived at the post station (now called the reception station) there via Xianggong Pavilion in Jiangxi. After reporting to the government, state government officials and the county magistrate went to the post office to meet them. Later generations called this place Wuliting, and this scenic spot existed in name only.

Hexagonal shrine

At the foot of Gualing Mountain, Shiziling, in the east of the city (now Chengdong Town, Meixian County), there is a tomb of mother-in-law Hai Rui. In order to commemorate Hai Qingtian's filial piety to her mother-in-law, later generations built a pavilion with six lotus lanterns, which looked like a shrine. People call this area in front of the shrine. This scenic spot still exists now.

Qilijing water

Meixishui, surging, went straight to Cheng Jiang. There is a seven-mile path between Daping and Chengjiang Long Beach. At that time, the Kuomintang government sent soil experts to investigate here and drew a blueprint for building a sluice to store water and generate electricity, but it was not realized because of insufficient funds. After liberation, the people's government called for the construction of a small hydropower station, and the government allocated funds to invest and built it. After the installation of the unit, the water flow was successfully used for power generation.

Bajiaoshiquan

There is a lake of 10 square meter on the northeast bank of Liangtingtang under the tomb slope in the eastern suburb of Gangzi (near Dongshan Avenue in Jiangbei today). Strangely, although the lake cave is small, underground spring water gurgles out, and the water quality is pure, sweet and delicious. Later generations sealed the lake with cement and built octagonal railings. People call it "octagonal well", which is famous far and near. This scenic spot still exists, but the spring water is not what it used to be.

Jiulongshanzhang

There is a mountain called Jiulong Zhang in Meinan, Meixian County (now Meinan Town, Meixian County). There are rolling mountains and rugged rocks. There is a pass at the top of the mountain, which is a fortress leading to prosperity. The whole mountain peak is the barrier of Fengshun Chaoshan area and a military stronghold. Shan Qi Shuixiu, located in the south of Mei 'nan Kowloon, once left the footprints of the Red Army, which is a revolutionary holy land and is worth visiting and recalling.

Ten Li Guaxiang

There is a place called Shijiawei in the western suburb of Meicheng (now near Guangmei Road and Meizhou Avenue in Meicheng North). In the past, farmers there were famous for growing cucumbers in their fields. The cucumber produced is thin, tender, sweet, crisp and delicious, and it has become a local specialty, which is well-known and has left a good reputation in history. Due to the development of the city, the fertile land in this scenic spot is lost in high-rise buildings, and cucumbers can't be planted.
