What kind of walks are there?
Walking is an acceptable and favorite sport for the elderly. Walking is easy, but it's not just a few steps. There are usually five ways for reference.

(1) Ordinary walking method: 60-90 steps per minute, 20-40 minutes each time, suitable for the elderly with coronary heart disease, hypertension, sequelae of cerebral hemorrhage or respiratory diseases.

(2) Fast walking method: 90 ~ 120 steps per minute, 30 ~ 60 minutes each time, suitable for healthy patients with chronic arthritis, gastrointestinal diseases and hypertension in recovery period.

(3) Back-to-back walking: When walking, put the back of your hand on the Mingmen point on the lower back, slowly walk back 50 steps, and then walk forward 100 step. Backward-forward 5 ~ 10 times. It is suitable for elderly patients with mild dementia and nervous system diseases.

(4) Swing arm walking: the two arms swing back and forth, walking 60 ~ 90 steps per minute, which is suitable for scapulohumeral periarthritis. Elderly people suffering from arthritis of upper and lower limbs, chronic arthritis, emphysema and other diseases.

(5) Walking on the abdomen: This is a traditional health preserving method of Chinese medicine. Massage the abdomen with both hands while walking, 30 ~ 60 steps per minute, each step is massaged for one week, and the forward rotation and reverse rotation are alternately performed, and each walk lasts for 3 ~ 5 minutes. This method is suitable for the elderly with gastrointestinal diseases.
