What did the ancients mean by six educations?
There are many ways to keep in good health in TCM. Since ancient times, there have been many methods of TCM health preservation. After all, many of them have been lost. Six nourishment is the ancient way of keeping in good health. So, what kind of health preservation does the ancients mean? How did the ancients support six people?

1, the ancients raised six

(1) Underwater acoustic ear protection

"I like the cool breeze in the evening. I listen to the sound of spring in the purple lotus fragrance." Ceng Gong's "Enjoy the Cool in the West Lake" tells the wonderful realm of underwater sound nourishing ears. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, "kidney governs water" and listens to the sound of water, so as to converge kidney qi and maintain kidney essence. "The kidney begins to understand the ear", and the sound of water can make the ear canal quiet, accompanied by elegant lotus fragrance, which makes people relaxed and happy.

At home and abroad, there are clinical methods to treat tinnitus by using the sound of sea waves, such as listening to the sound of waterfalls or sea waves, which can effectively relieve the symptoms of tinnitus and contribute to the rehabilitation of tinnitus. This is the same as the treatment principle of tinnitus hearing aid with similar tinnitus frequency, that is, after confirming which tinnitus belongs to low, medium and high audio frequency, the volume of underwater sound can be controlled to be slightly larger than that of tinnitus, so as to achieve the purpose of treating tinnitus. In addition, patients with tinnitus are often accompanied by emotional anxiety, and patients with conditions are often exposed to the sounds of the natural environment, which is more effective in relieving stress.

(2) Green grass protects eyes

According to the theory of five elements in traditional Chinese medicine, green is cyan and five elements belong to wood. The five internal organs correspond to the liver, and the liver opens its eyes. Because the function of the liver is to control qi and regulate emotions, it is natural to walk among the green mountains and green waters.

But "green eye-catching" doesn't mean that you can get it just by staring at a pot of flowers in front of you, but emphasizes that people should go into nature and keep their eyes as far away as possible. Therefore, overlooking is its core essence. At night, the light is soft, overlooking the green hills and trees, which can relax the ciliary muscles to the maximum extent, relieve eye fatigue and correct myopia better. Teenagers with early myopia and adults with low myopia should form the habit of overlooking the green every day, which will help to restore normal vision.

(3) Reading and nourishing the heart

Landscape is the first nature, and books are the scenery on paper. You can also appreciate the beauty of nature by reading travel notes and landscape poems, which can be described as "second nature". From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the heart governs the gods and the heart governs the yang. Reading can exercise the agility of thinking, boost the heart, promote blood circulation and make people full of vitality.

"Full reading of poetry books", reading more books can increase knowledge, broaden horizons and nourish Xiu De. Professor Deng Tietao, a hundred-year-old Chinese medicine practitioner, has a saying in the Book of Immortality, "To preserve health, you must cultivate your heart first, and cultivate your self first". Where does virtue come from? Reading is a good method that is both economical and affordable. Reading is to cultivate the mountains and rivers in the chest, realize inner peace through understanding things, and thus cultivate the mind.

(4) Shu Qin Yang Zhi

Father and calligraphy are treasures of China culture, and also the highest realm of self-cultivation. In the view of Chinese medicine, father and calligraphy also have obvious health care functions.

There are 12 meridians in the human body, of which 6 meridians run through the hand, and there are important "well points" such as Shaoshang, Shangyang, Zhongchong, Guanchong, Shaochong and Shaoze at the end of the finger. Many diseases can be effectively prevented and treated by pressing well points or scraping. In the Song Dynasty, Ouyang Xiu recorded his experience of learning to play the piano to treat his "melancholy disease" and "contracture of his middle fingers".

Calligraphy and painting are both dynamic and static movements. The arm and the whole body are driven by moving fingers and wrists, and the strength of the whole body is gathered at the end of the pen. When practicing, you often "don't think about emotions, gains and losses, honor and disgrace, troubles and fatigue", which can not only relax muscles and tendons, dredge meridians, but also make people feel comfortable and relax physically and mentally, thus reconciling internal and external factors and delaying aging.

(5) Walking with crutches to support feet

"Foot is the essence root", and plantar acupoint is the reflection area of many organs of human body, so foot is closely related to Yin and Yang, qi and blood. Poor condition of legs and feet can easily lead to poor qi and blood and many diseases. Choosing suitable crutches for the elderly can increase the support of legs and feet, provide joint protection and reduce injuries.

The length of the cane is the most important. When the human body stands upright and hands naturally droop, the height of the walking stick is the same as that of the wrist. It should be noted that the handle part of the crutch should not be too smooth, and the bottom must be anti-slip. The crutch with multi-leg bottom has better support and stability, and is especially suitable for the elderly with poor balance ability, history of stroke, arthritis or leg injury. Secondly, crutches should not be too heavy, otherwise it is inconvenient to use.

(6) Sit still and nourish muscles

Chinese medicine believes that tranquility nourishes the soul. "Su Wen's Five Movement Theory" records: "God is the wind of heaven, the wood of the earth, the muscle of the body, the softness of qi, and the dirty liver." Therefore, meditation can soften the liver and relax the tendons, and qi and blood can converge and hide, then the fascia can be nourished, and finally the purpose of nourishing the body and mind can be achieved. Meditation is a very good way to keep fit for urbanites with fast pace of modern work and life.

Simply sitting cross-legged, with even and slow breathing and rest, sitting quietly for about 15 minutes every night before going to bed can effectively relieve tension, relieve chronic pain and improve poor sleep.

2. Matters needing attention in TCM health care

1, control lust

Chinese medicine believes that "the emotion moves the kidney and the kidney moves the essence." Normal men have the most primitive sexual impulses. Only by self-learning and controlling lust can we control the essence in the kidney. Excessive indulgence is easy to make people tired. There is no health without essence.

Step 2 avoid overwork

We like to say that men can't be used by others when doing things. However, it is also important for men to rest if they want to be energetic. If a person keeps his body in a state of overwork for a long time, he can't create good essence anyway. There is no health without health.

Step 3 control irritability

In my impression, men are always more impatient than women, and are more likely to form irritable emotions. In fact, men are often in an agitated mood, which is easy to hurt the liver and consume essence. People's emotions should be controlled by themselves and should not be infected by foreign objects. They should learn to be masters of their emotions.

4. throw away the wine in your hand

Alcohol, if drunk properly, can be beneficial to health, but excessive drinking will cause qi and blood disorder. Many people will describe their fear of drinking when they are drunk, which shows how much pain excessive drinking brings to the body.

5. Don't overeat.

What is said here is that men's health care must prevent overeating, not that men should pay attention to diet like women, but that men should pay more attention to eating more grains to nourish their essence.

Men pay more attention to health, but in general, they should pay attention to the maintenance of essence. Men can have a healthy body by raising the most fundamental essence.
