Introduction of Fuzhou No.16 Middle School
Fuzhou No.16 Middle School is a school with a history of 1.53 years. Formerly a private Yu Ying junior high school for girls, it was founded in 1.859 (the ninth year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty). It is the first girls' school founded by the Methodist Church of Christ in America in East Asia. When it was founded, the school was named "Yu Ying Boarding School for Girls", and the school building was borrowed from Huaying College, with a two-story building and six rooms (the address is now Fuzhou Senior High School). It took three years to move to Taikooping (now Cangshan Primary School) in Cang Qian. /kloc-bought a foreign-run "taimao tea shop" as a school building in 0/873, and it is now the site of No.16 Middle School (No.35 Maiyuan Road, Zangqianshan). 1909, the name of the school was changed to "Yu Ying Girls' School". Since its establishment, the school has not had a fixed academic system. Later, it was renamed "Yu Ying Girls' School". 1927 applied to the then Fujian Municipal Committee for filing a case. At the beginning of the new semester in September, it was officially named "Fuzhou Private Yu Ying Girls' Junior High School", which has been in use ever since.
