Introduction of Baodao Peak Scenic Area
Baodaofeng Scenic Area in Luotian County is a national 4A-level scenic spot, located at the junction of Hubei and Anhui in the southwest of Dabie Mountain, with an area of 30 square kilometers. It is a scenic spot integrating tourism, conference, leisure and scientific research. Baodaofeng was originally named He Gaofeng. Because of its towering peak, the highest point is 1408.2 meters above sea level, which is one of the main river basins of the Yangtze River and Huaihe River. In the past, white cranes often lived here. The ancients named it after the meaning in the Book of Songs that "He Ming is nine high and his voice is heard in the sky". After that, Wollongong was like a dragon at the foot of the main peak, and its ridge was like a thin knife, with strange pines and rocks. Feng Yuxiang's sharp knife regiment was stationed here at night on 18+0, and together with the local people, more than 40,000 people, including Li Laomo (formerly known as the warlord Wu), were wiped out here. Baodao Peak has beautiful peaks and lush vegetation. During the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Bashui Mantian plundered the rich in the coastal areas of Jianghuai, the "main temple of Wang Jue". There are the "Tongluo Dangerous Pass" where Yue Fei resisted gold in the Southern Song Dynasty, the "Unique Ancient Temple" built by Ji Bu and other eminent monks for villagers in Foze, and the "Gao He Village" where Xu Shouhui lived in danger at the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty. Its scenic spots are characterized by peaks, dangers, pines and strange rocks.
