1. Cervical spondylosis-Cervical spondylosis is a series of symptoms caused by degeneration and protrusion of cervical intervertebral disc, hyperosteogeny of cervical vertebra, thickening, degeneration and calcification of ligaments, and compression of muscles, blood vessels, nerves and spinal cord around it, which are mainly divided into nerve root type, spinal cord type, vertebral artery type, sympathetic nerve type and mixed type. Mixed type means that two or more kinds exist at the same time.

The highest incidence of nerve root type is about 60%, which is mainly characterized by repeated stiff neck, pain and numbness in one side of head, neck, shoulders, arms and hands, limited neck movement and severe paralysis of upper limbs. Sympathetic nerve types can explain symptoms such as pain in the anterior region, nausea and vomiting, and chills in limbs.

Vertebral artery type accounts for about 15%, and its main manifestations are insufficient cerebral blood supply, dizziness, cataplexy, tinnitus, deafness and blurred vision.

Spinal cord type accounts for about 5%, mainly manifested as muscle weakness, heaviness, numbness, weakness, leg weakness, unstable walking, numbness of upper limbs, finger weakness, and severe quadriplegia or paraplegia in the later stage.

At present, traction, pulse wave therapy, far infrared therapy and drug iontophoresis are widely used in the treatment of cervical spondylosis. Therapy is the best treatment for cervical spondylosis, which can generally be completely cured. Its treatment principle is to relieve the compression of cervical joint by traction, relieve muscle spasm by far-infrared hyperthermia, improve the compression of nerve roots and arteries by pulse wave adjustment, promote blood circulation in the neck, and soften hyperosteogeny by drug iontophoresis.

2. Low back pain-mainly divided into cold and wet low back pain, lumbar muscle strain, kidney deficiency low back pain and so on. Cold-dampness lumbago is mostly caused by feeling cold or sitting in a wetland or a cold place, and the evil of wind, cold, water and dampness soaks the meridians and blocks the qi of the meridians. Lumbar muscle strain is caused by the failure to fully recover the back muscles after being hit or by old injuries, which leads to the damage of meridians and blood stasis, while lumbar muscle strain due to kidney deficiency is caused by long-term overwork, sedentary or kidney injury at that time.

Acupoint selection for treatment: The above-mentioned lumbago was treated by iontophoresis of two drugs in therapeutic instrument, which acted on Shenshu point and added with far-infrared hyperthermia. Through the treatment of Shenshu point, the blood circulation of the waist can be improved, and dampness and cold can be eliminated, thus improving low back pain.

3. Scapulohumeral periarthritis-Scapulohumeral periarthritis is a chronic degenerative inflammatory disease of soft tissue around the shoulder joint, with more women than men, especially people over 40-50 years old. At the onset, it may be caused by mild injury, local cold and fatigue, but most of them are primary. The common symptom is diffuse shoulder pain, which can radiate to the neck and upper arm, accompanied by local extensive tenderness points. Static pain is one of the characteristics of scapulohumeral periarthritis, which is manifested as mild pain. You can be awakened by pain at night, but when you get up in the morning, the affected part is very painful. A little exercise will relieve the pain. Due to the self-defense spasm caused by pain, dysfunction may occur in the early stage, and abduction and abduction movement are limited.

Acupoint selection for treatment: If the affected upper limb can't be lifted, use two therapeutic pulse patches to act on Jianjing point and Shoulder Epiphysis point; If the affected upper limb can't swing back and forth, use two pulse wave patches of the therapeutic instrument to act on Shouzhen and Qianjian points.

4. Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic disease with symmetrical multiple joints as its main clinical manifestation. Its basic pathology forms synovitis, leading to the destruction of joint structure. Joint damage is often symmetrical, and it often invades small joints such as fingers and toes and spinal joints. If not treated in time, the disease will gradually develop and worsen, which will eventually lead to joint deformity, joint stiffness and functional loss, which will lead to different degrees of disability, mainly manifested as joint morning stiffness, pain, swelling and deformity.

Acupoint selection for rheumatism treatment: two pulse patches of therapeutic instrument or drug iontophoresis can be used to act on the affected shoulder well and shoulder epiphysis.

5. Osteoproliferation-a common chronic joint disease, also known as osteoarthropathy and bone spur. It is characterized by primary or secondary degenerative diseases of articular cartilage and hyperosteogeny.

The nutrition of articular cartilage comes from synovial fluid in the joint cavity, so any factor that is not conducive to synovial fluid circulation will affect the function of articular cartilage and promote the degeneration of articular cartilage.

Articular cartilage softens, loses its normal elasticity, the surface of cartilage is yellow and rough, cracks appear in deep cartilage, and the surface of peripheral cartilage proliferates and thickens, forming a convex cartilage circle at the edge of the joint, ossifying to form osteophyte, which leads to the imbalance of biological stress on the joint surface. The main clinical manifestations are slow onset, joint discomfort or dull pain caused by cold, fatigue or minor trauma at first, and then gradually aggravated, and joint friction accompanied by stiffness and pain may occur when changing posture. Therefore,

Because there are no blood vessels in the bones, it is difficult for oral drugs to treat hyperosteogeny to be effectively absorbed and utilized, so many patients take drug treatment, which has little effect except short-term pain relief. In view of the pathogenesis of hyperosteogeny, the therapeutic instrument specially designed a comprehensive treatment scheme combining drug iontophoresis with far-infrared hyperthermia. This therapy can directly introduce drugs or vinegar ions into the hyperplasia site to form drug ion piles or coarse ion piles for long-term reverse softening treatment, so that the bone spurs formed by hyperosteogeny gradually soften and metabolize, and achieve the effect of complete cure.
