Brief introduction of Ma Ji
Ma Ji, formerly known as Ma Shuhuai, was born in 1934. Ma Ji likes crosstalk since he was a child. When he was in primary school, he often went to Qi Ming Teahouse to listen to crosstalk. Of course, Ma Ji can't afford a ticket. One of his classmates has a relationship with his boss, and he doesn't care.
Ma Ji 13 years old, his father died of illness. Ma Ji had to drop out of school and become an apprentice in a factory in Shanghai. After the founding of New China, Ma Ji returned to Beijing.
195 1 year, Ma Ji was admitted to Beijing Xinhua Bookstore and became a clerk. Because I love cross talk, I have been learning cross talk after work.
From 65438 to 0956, 22-year-old Ma Ji participated in the national amateur folk art performance and won the national championship. Ma Ji was successfully transferred to the rap group of the Central Broadcasting Art Troupe by the famous crosstalk artist Hou.
The leader of the rap group was eager for talents, and arranged four teachers, Hou, Guo Qiru and Hou, to teach Ma Ji crosstalk, with Hou as the responsible teacher.
A great teacher makes a great apprentice, not to mention the four great teachers. With this unique advantage, Ma Ji has made rapid progress, and the level of cross talk has really advanced by leaps and bounds.
While mastering the traditional crosstalk, Ma Ji went deep into life, made friends with people from all walks of life and created a large number of new crosstalk. Praising crosstalk is Ma Ji's original creation, and he has also written many satirical crosstalk. According to the statistics of Ma Ji's disciples, Ma Ji wrote more than 300 prime ministers' voices in his life.
Ma Ji's representative crosstalk works include Ode to Friendship, Cosmos Cigarette, and Five Blessingg's Merit.
The Bole in Ma Ji is Hou He, and the official owner of Ma Ji is Hou. After Ma Ji became famous, he became a Bole himself. For the development of crosstalk, he found many crosstalk talents and accepted many apprentices.
Ma Ji loves talents as much as his life. 1976, he went to the Great Northern Wilderness to transfer Jiang Kun to Beijing. At that time, the leaders of the corps disagreed anyway. Ma Ji organized a performance team of more than 10 people to perform all over the Corps, and shouted himself hoarse. Ma Ji's sincerity finally moved the leaders of the Corps, and Jiang Kun was transferred to the radio rap group.
Ma Ji has always regarded his apprentice as a student and a brother. Even the name is "brother", but also let his son Ma Dong call the student "uncle".
It was not until 1990 that, at the repeated requests of his disciples, Maji agreed to hold the "Xie Shihui of Maji Disciple" in Suzhou, officially changing the relationship between master and apprentice into that of master and apprentice.

Disciple Jiang Kun:
Jiang Kun is a Beijinger, born in 1950. From 65438 to 0968, he worked as an educated youth in Heilongjiang Production and Construction Corps in the Great Northern Wilderness. A few years later, I went to the propaganda team and learned crosstalk from my teacher.
1976, Shi participated in the national Quyi performance on behalf of Heilongjiang team and won the first prize. Ma Ji transferred Jiang Kun to China Radio and Rap Troupe, became a professional crosstalk performer, and taught himself crosstalk. Jiang Kun was Ma Ji's first apprentice.
1983, Jiang Kun boarded the first CCTV Spring Festival Gala as a host, and later served as the host of seven consecutive CCTV Spring Festival Galas, and also hosted CCTV Zheng Da variety shows. He was the hottest crosstalk performer in 1980s and 1990s.
Zhao Yan, the apprentice with the longest cooperation time:
Zhao Yan is a Beijinger, born in 195 1. 1976 was transferred to the Central Radio and Rap Troupe by Ma Ji. At the end of that year, Ma Ji personally took Zhao Yan to cross talk.
Soon Zhao Yan accepted Ma Ji as his teacher and was Ma Ji's second apprentice. They worked together for 27 years.
Feng Gong, the most apprentice of CCTV Spring Festival Evening:
Feng Gong was born in 1957. Feng Gong had a talent for acting when he was a child. When I was a student, I partnered with Liu Wei and others to talk cross talk, which made me famous among middle school students in Tianjin. When Ma Ji went to Tianjin, he also visited Feng Gong at school to encourage him to learn crosstalk well.
1984, Feng Gong was transferred to the radio and rap group by Ma Ji, studied under Ma Ji, and became Ma Ji's fourth apprentice. 1986 Feng Gong and Wei Liu took the stage of CCTV Spring Festival Evening for the first time. Since then, it has been out of control, and it has been on the stage of CCTV Spring Festival Evening for more than 30 times, saying cross talk and acting sketches.
Favorite apprentice Liu Wei:
Liu Wei is a native of Tianjin, born in 1959. When I was at school, I talked with Feng Gong's partner, and I became famous in school. Liu Wei was only 16 years old when he was accepted as an apprentice by Ma Ji, and he was the third apprentice of Ma Ji.
The crosstalk between Wei Liu and Feng Gong is very popular on the stage of CCTV Spring Festival Evening. From 65438 to 0988, Liu Wei was hot-headed and bent on going abroad. Ma Ji, though reluctant, still respects Liu Wei's ideas.
Liu Wei did not develop well abroad and came back. At this point, Feng Gong has partnered with scalpers and achieved good results.
Ma Ji also didn't abandon him, so he directly canceled the cross talk with Zhao Yan, took Wei Liu to CCTV Spring Festival Evening again, and personally paid tribute to Wei Liu. Anyway, Liu Wei is Ma Ji's favorite disciple.
Closed disciple Hou Guannan:
Hou Guannan was born in 1982, and studied under Ma Ji in 1998. He is a close disciple of Ma Ji. Hou Guannan is neither famous nor young. Why did Ma Ji accept him as an apprentice?
It turns out that Hou Guannan is the grandson of crosstalk master Liu Baorui. Ma Ji accepted Hou Guannan in return for Mr. Liu Baorui's kindness. When Ma Ji first arrived at the radio rap group, Liu Baorui would take him as an apprentice and teach him crosstalk without reservation.
Liu Baorui also said to Ma Ji at that time: "I only have one daughter, and I will have a grandson in the future. No matter whether he says cross talk or not, you should accept him as an apprentice. " Ma Ji promised to come down.
Before coming to Hou Guannan, Ma Ji specially called several apprentices and told the story, saying that he must accept Hou Guannan as an apprentice. Disciples also supported it, so Ma Ji accepted Hou Guannan as a closed disciple.
To sum up, Mr. Ma Ji, the master of cross talk, accepted 19 apprentices, the eldest of whom was Jiang Kun. Apprentices are sorted by entry order, not by age.
