In traditional Chinese medicine, massaging human acupoints is considered to be a very good health care method, which can dredge meridians, access qi and blood and regulate yin and yang. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "the heart governs the gods" and "the brain is the home of the Yuan gods". For patients with cardiovascular diseases, you can massage some "Shen points" to relieve symptoms.

Heart function: Jiquan point

The common symptoms of heart disease are chest tightness, palpitation, chest pain, etc., but the appearance of these symptoms does not mean that it is a heart disease, but it may also be caused by the imbalance of nerve function regulation. In addition, chest tightness and palpitation may occur during strenuous exercise and overwork, but it should be noted that chest tightness and palpitation caused by non-cardiac organic diseases will not last for a long time, and may get better after rest, while heart patients will aggravate discomfort when they have a large amount of activity.

It is suggested that people with this symptom go to the hospital for further diagnosis to determine whether they have heart disease. You can also simply test the heart function by pressing acupuncture points.

Acupoint selection: the polar spring is located at the apex of armpit, where the axillary artery beats. It can not only regulate the heart rhythm, treat bilateral rib pain, but also detect the key points of cardiovascular health.

Massage technique: press the polar spring with your thumb, and you will encounter many "small tendons" when you click it, which will cause tingling pain to your fingers. If the numbness is obvious, it means that the heart meridian is unobstructed and the cardiovascular function is normal; If you only feel pain on time, it proves that there is blood stasis in the cardiovascular system; If there is no pain or numbness, it means that the cardiovascular system may have insufficient blood supply.

Strong heart: Gongsun point

Gongsun point, just like the emperor, can command four directions. Pressing Gongsun point can mobilize the whole body, so pressing this place can relieve fatigue and regulate the internal organs.

If the heart is not good, pressing Gongsun point often can strengthen the spleen and generate blood, regulate the rise and fall of qi and blood, replenish qi and promote blood circulation, and make the heart with insufficient qi and blood sufficient.

Acupoint selection: On the inside of the joint formed by the big toe and the palm (No.65438 +0 metatarsophalangeal joint), push an arch bone (arch) backwards by hand, and a depression can be touched at the lower edge of the rear end of the arch bone, which makes you feel sore when pressing.

Massage technique: press Gongsun point with both thumbs and abdomen, and pay more attention when pressing. Massage for 5 minutes each time, twice a day.

Angina pectoris: Shenmen point

Patients with angina pectoris will have chest tightness, chest pain, shortness of breath and other symptoms when they are engaged in a lot of physical activities. Acupoint massage can dilate blood vessels, improve blood supply to myocardium and relieve symptoms.

Acupoint selection: Shenmen point is located at the wrist, at the ulnar end of the carpal metacarpal striation, and at the radial depression of the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon.

Massage method: Place the vertex of thumb or forefinger (to avoid nails pinching the skin) on the acupoints, knead first and then press, with downward pressure as the main factor, alternating left and right. The intensity should be from light to heavy, so that its acupoints can produce acid, numbness, swelling, pain and heat effects. Massage once every morning and evening for 2-3 minutes. This method is suitable for the daily health care of patients with coronary heart disease or angina pectoris.

If the chest pain is severe during the attack of angina pectoris and lasts for more than 5 minutes, it is recommended to take nitroglycerin, quick-acting jiuxin pills and other first-aid drugs immediately. If chest pain persists, you should see a doctor immediately.

Insomnia: Shenque point

Acupoint selection: Shenque point, that is, the position of navel.

Massage method: Press the index finger for 5~7 minutes before going to bed every night, which can soothe the nerves, help sleep and relieve constipation.
