I gave birth to my third child. This month, I still choose to stay in the Confucius Center for 30 days and then go home. During this month, I am very grateful to my in-laws for their willingness to help me bring two small preserved eggs, and I am also very grateful to my husband for his willingness to pay for me to have a good rest at the Confucius Center.
Take myself as an example. Because my parents have no one to help me with my confinement, my in-laws have to take care of Dabao and Bauer for me. My husband is engaged in the service industry, so there is basically no rest on weekends and holidays. In addition, our home is remote, and it is not easy to find a nanny aunt, so the Moon Center is still my first choice!
Today, as a person who has experienced the Moon Center, I want to share the benefits of the Moon Center with you. Is it worth spending money to send mothers who have given birth to children to the month center?
I still remember that when I gave birth to my first child, I only stayed in the Confucius Center for 20 days and then went home. When I got home, I took care of the children 24 hours a day because there was no helper. Every day, I fall into the cycle of milking, feeding, washing bottles, changing diapers, eating and finding time to catch up on sleep. I have to get up early in the morning to milk, and then find time to do housework and wash clothes ... I can hardly have a good rest and I don't know what "sleep" is!
So I got sick before the second month. As for food, my in-laws and I live nearby. My mother-in-law will help me cook for a day, and then my father-in-law will send it to our house in the morning. When you want to eat, you will let your husband heat it up. See ~ it takes a lot of effort just to eat something. With the lesson of the first child, my second and third children went to the confinement center for 30 days before coming home.
When I first chose the Moon Center, I saw a lot of rooms and did a lot of homework. Generally speaking, the services provided by the Yuezi Center are:
Comfortable and clean environment
Someone will clean it every day, and there will be a general cleaning and disinfection once a week. The room is fully equipped.
Mothers basically only need to bring close-fitting clothes, sanitary napkins and personal toiletries!
The bathroom is dry and wet, with baking lamps and warm air equipment. Mothers don't have to worry about getting cold in the shower, and in some cases, the faucet in the bathroom in Yuezi Center is boiled by a boiler, so mothers don't have to worry about running into raw water. According to the different room types, there are even bottle sterilizers, electric milking machines, electric baby shakers and chairs. Some even have bathtubs, no toilets and exclusive parking spaces.
A balanced moon meal
5~6 meals a day is a monthly meal designed for mothers who give birth naturally or have caesarean section in different periods after delivery. Some monthly centers are even equipped with nutritionists to facilitate postpartum mothers to adjust their physique and supplement the nutrition needed for breastfeeding. And every meal changes every day, giving consideration to nutrition and delicious.
Healthy tea
In addition to the delicious moon meal, hot tea suitable for lying-in women is also provided every day, such as Guanyin tea, Eucommia ulmoides tea, black bean tea, etc ... And the daily hydration amount of lactating mothers is basically 3000c.c, so drinking more of these teas will also help lactation. For example, for mothers with special needs, Yuezi Center will also provide biochemical soup, red bean water, milk tea and milk tea in return.
A clean change of clothes
Clean breast-feeding clothes and baby clothes will be provided every day, so don't worry about washing clothes.
Professional nurses and nannies
The first thing a mother who has just given birth to a child has to face when she comes home is the care of her own wound, lochia, breastfeeding, umbilical cord care and jaundice index. These will be assisted by the nursing staff at the Yuezi Center. Disinfecting the umbilical cord when giving birth to the first child really scared me to death, and the jaundice index of our Dabaobar is also very high, hovering around 13. (If the index is 15, you need to be hospitalized. )
The Confucius Center will have a professional non-invasive jaundice tester to help them monitor the jaundice index every day. There are professionals in the Yuezi Center to take care of the baby 24 hours a day according to the fixed medical care ratio and as far as possible according to mommy's requirements. Of course, mothers can choose to share rooms with their babies. If she is tired, she can send the baby to the nursery, so that the mother can have a good rest or do what she wants.
Take my baby as an example. He urinates and defecates about 15 times a day on average in the confinement center. Just helping him wash and change diapers will make me get up soon. It was a close call. There are nursing staff who can help!
Most month centers have monitoring systems in the baby's room, and mothers can watch the baby's room at any time through TV channels. In addition, nurses can also provide mothers with correct parenting methods, which is very useful for novice parents!
Consult pediatricians and obstetricians and gynecologists every week.
In the month center, mothers don't have to go out. Every week, doctors will come to the house for a basic examination, but they won't do any medical treatment. If the doctor feels it necessary to go to the hospital after seeing it, they can go to the hospital.
Regular mom classroom
My own mother's classroom courses at the Confucius Center are: baby * * *, baby allergy prevention, postpartum yoga. Mothers can also meet some new friends in class, communicate with each other, and someone can chat to avoid postpartum depression!
Recommended reading: Novice parents must learn once, and have a good confinement.
bath water
Traditional confinement can't touch raw water, so the confinement center provides a pot of bath water boiled with herbs every day, mainly because "wind grass" or "old ginger" has the effects of dilating blood vessels, expelling wind and swelling, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.
Beautician
Provide shampoo, * * *, SPA breast enhancement * * and other self-funded services.
Limited visiting hours
Due to the weak resistance of newborns, in order to avoid cross-infection, the month center usually limits the time and number of visitors. Even if there are visitors, they can only look at the baby through the glass and will not touch the baby directly. Some moon centers prohibit visitors from entering! Therefore, mothers and babies can get more rest.
Mi Yue gift box tasting party
The manufacturer of gift boxes in Mi Yue will take samples to Yuezi Center for mothers to try. If they go home to have their own confinement, they must contact the manufacturer to try it out, and most of them have to pay. These are the advantages of Confucius Center.
Now in addition to the Moon Center, there are Moon Meals and Moon Auntie to choose from. The average monthly meal delivered to your door is about one day 1800, so the meal fee alone is $54,000 a month.
Although there are 5-6 meals a day with tea, the moon meal sent to the government is basically cooked the day before, packaged and refrigerated, and sent to the customer's home the next day (but some moon meal manufacturers cook it on the same day). Most of the meals to be eaten all day are delivered 1-2 times, each time heated, so the freshness of the dishes is not as good as that of the moon center.
The son-in-law aunt confined to the house.
The advantage is that with Dabao at home, mom won't have to be separated from Dabao. Aunt Zi Yue's job is probably to buy and cook the ingredients for the moon meal, take care of the mother and baby, clean the clothes and clean up the simple environment (mostly confined to the room, bathroom and kitchen). If you need to do other things or help take care of Dabao, you need to pay extra.
Aunt Zi Yue works 9 hours a day and takes 4 days off every month. Her monthly salary is about 50,000 yuan, which does not include the money for buying food. Besides, after Aunt Zi gets off work, the mother must take care of the children by herself.
A friend found a very good aunt, Zi Yue. Not only was the food delicious, but the baby was well taken care of. Our friends went to see her in the second month, and Aunt Zi said that she warmly welcomed us and cooked for us. After the baby is full moon, Aunt Zi will still keep in touch with Mommy and care about the baby's growth, so when my friend is pregnant with her second child, she also made an appointment with the same Aunt Zi! I can only say that it is really hard to get a good aunt next month.
The elders at home help with confinement (usually mother-in-law or mother-in-law)
However, it is difficult for elders to cook monthly meals and take care of babies &; After all, the old people don't have three nannies to take care of the baby like the staff at the Confucius Center. Usually, the elders and mothers take turns to take care of the baby day and night, and the mother really can't have a good rest.
In addition, if the way the elder takes care of the baby or the taste of cooking the moon meal is different from that of the mother, or if he is embarrassed to let the elder do something, it is of course the best to improve the communication between the two sides, but if the communication fails, or if there is a bad feeling with the elder itself (such as the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law), the elder and mother-in-law will be exhausted physically and mentally, and the friction between the two sides will deepen!
Because of the hard work of ten months of pregnancy and the pain and suffering during childbirth, no one can replace the parturient. In the month center, women can have a good rest without any worries. Someone will take care of you when your baby is tired, send you clean clothes when you are hungry, and help you clean the room when it is dirty. Your husband can also rest assured about his wife and newborn without disturbing his family. Here, what postpartum mothers have to do is eat and sleep.
Adjust your body and mind to the best state. There is still a long way to go home.
However, everyone still has to measure their own situation! Measure your situation! Measure your situation! & lt-because it is very important, say it three times, maybe you can find a big aunt, maybe you can have a wise family to help you with your confinement. Anyway, I still hope that the mothers who are pregnant hard in October can take good care of themselves after unloading. These are my personal experiences and ideas ~ to share with you.
Sophie, mom reminded me.
1. I suggest you start looking for a confinement center at the beginning of pregnancy, so be sure to see more houses and compare them. It is best to see the actual room type of the center with confinement.
2. If possible, try the Moon Meal in Yuezi Center.
3. Pay attention to the ratio of doctors and nurses, and whether there are qualified and legally registered nursing institutions in the Confucius Center.
